@@shungun4112 What money did he take?? Where did it come from?? I know Bun personally and he really is a cool dude. Bun ain't took no money because wasn't no money to take. Folks on the outside swear they have a clue when they don't. Only person got some money after Pimp died was his wife.
"Like Slim Charles said we gotta stand on that lie. But when we get away from the situation I'ma tell you 'aye that wasn't cool.'' " I'm the same way, Bun.
Yes and maybe ..it's a solid plan but also setting up in a small town might be way cheaper but u also don't have the foot traffic like in a big town .. setting up small is definitely a good way to fine tune your plan to help u get to that next step but bun is definitely learned how the game goes...it's like these top basketball players choosing to go play in certain cities it's not just about how they're gonna get paid but about how much business access there going to have in the city they're playing in..it's big business out here ..
Man bun’s remarks totally caught wick off guard lol. That was a real genuine reaction..wick was speechless lol. Gotta mean a lot coming from One of the goats 💪🏾
@@DOTTAisKING man, this nigga just trolling bro. He just wants to start some bs and controversy is all he’s trying to do. I mean it’s sad (really sad honestly) but some people have to troll to validate themselves. They have to troll to make themselves feel good and feel like they’re actually doing something with their lives. But in all actuality it’s not even doing anything for them really but making them look like they have nothing better to do with their lives. It makes them look like they have no life so they have to do something to get them some type of attention. I guarantee that if this dude would be truthful about why he said that he would say something to the extent of “ I just wanted to get some attention. I knew that if people saw me going against the grain and disrespecting one of the greatest rap duos of all time that people would agree or disagree with me. But it will get the attention of people and they’d have to comment on my comment”. This dude knows that UGK is legit one of the G.O.A.T.s he just wanted to be edgy and it’s all for attention.
" I'm just a gangster I suppose..." - Avon Barksdale 😁 The Wire got way too many solid quotes... I couldn't take other television shows like law and order or CSI seriously after watching The wire... It's that good... But yeah slim Charles was one of the best in the show...lol
People been waiting on Bun to open up about Pimp this interview was Much Needed and ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿If you on the outside looking in u shouldn't speak on their friendship and it was only one protege and he outta Dallas!
UGK, Eightball &MJG, Ghetto Mafia, Dirty Boyz, Crooked Lettaz, Webbie n Boosie were and still are dynamic southern duo's in the rap game. There are others but for me these groups were the soundtrack for deep south. Country Rap tunes 4real
I see y'all here for this latest installment as well. Can't say it enough, one of the best rap hip hop interviews of all time. Gipp's interview was a classic too
Man my Bun still going through it over the loss of his brotha. You can see it after he states “He told me he love me and I told him I love him...”. His facial expression said it all. Long Live the Pimp!! My sincere prayers out to his family and friends. Wishing nothing but continued strength for Bun B.....A straight up living legend. 🙌🏿🙌🏿
Powerful interview! Give ghetto mafia they flowers now....They put Decatur on the map with "Straight from the Dec" back in 1997. Shout out to Big D, Nino, Bob Patton (RIP) who did the radio promotions for the song, OG Ernie Singleton, Carl Dorsey, Greg Street. Candler Road. South Dekalb Mall. Columbia HS. Glenwood flea market. Ken & Chris package store. Jazzy Ts. Third World records. Memorial drive.....
They fact Bun cares about making friends should show people just how humble he is. Bun can walk in any room people will line up to call Bun a friend come on Bun u a legend 😂.
@@davidhill7071 Hopedully you bounced back from that mane smh. Yeah I left the Mac in '94 went to SW Atl bka the SWATS through college, been in Cali ever since.
Dizaaaaamn Bun…..what you said about Ghetto Mafia joked me up Bro! Seeing that man receive them flowers was super heavy & well deserved. That’s all we be wanting amongst our peers. Thank you for that & being humble & showing humility. That’s what the world and especially our people tend to lack amongst one another. ✊🏽💪🏽💯🏁👑
The wisdom and camaraderie being shared between these three is profound. If you’ve lived your life in a way that your conversations feature the type of honest sincerity this one has, then you’re on the right path. Hardships & successes come and go, that’s life. What they’re doing here is living, the difference being a wholly spiritual one. 🙏PIMP C FOREVER♥️
@@rastaa3704 bro no disrespect intended but please don't spam me or anyone else with unrelated & untagged content like this. We probably not gonna view it & are even less likely to respect it. I respect the grind, but this not grind nor hustle when you do it like this. Peace brother
I was in the 7th grade one morning looking for a CD to listen to on the way to school went through my brother CDs & grab his Ghetto Mafia On Da Grind album by mistake and been a fan of them ever since
I’m 1000% SHOCKED that he mentioned Top Authority….. I thought they was super underground. That was the soundtrack to all the gangsta shit we was doing in Chicago in the early 90’s
Tru they wer understand but they music reached out to a lot of different places I’m from Mississippi and they was one me my homies favorite group of the 90s
I know Bun reading the comments. Your whole interview is some of the most realest shit ever. We need to hear your words more often. You need a podcast or RU-vid channel, something like Willie D. I’m 46 and I can relate to everything you’re saying. It would be cool if all the groups you named could form a union or something. They need to keep y’all uplifted like they do L.L., Big Daddy Kane, KRS, Public Enemy and etc. Even though y’all older, THE SOUTH STILL HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY
I ‘ve been benge watching all of these Bun B interviews & they were very interesting, informative & deep as hell! Thank you B High & Wicked for this interview w/ Bun! I always thought Bun always had something to say, & it always was going to make you or cause you to think about things in this life! Bun didn’t disappoint in these interviews at all! Salute to the OG Bun B & lastly #LongLivePimpC!#GoneNeverForgotten!
On god.... But pimp was telling the whole truth tho.... Cause after that interview was his death then boom everything he said came to life in da rap game
B High, thank you for these interviews. Whether it’s Big Gipp, Killer Mike or Bun B, you bring out the best in people and you really give a lot of history and context around the music a lot of us grew up with. Your guests feel comfortable around you, they sound like you (southern slang) and most importantly, they real with you. Makes listening that much more enjoyable. Thanks again and please keep them rolling!
What a Great interview. Truth is whenever Bun B speak I listen! He breathes OG energy. Thank you Bun for getting through all the years Pimp was down...AND all these years after!! Oh yeah...PLEASE bring your Trill Burger franchise to the Mac'town...my folks in Macon,GA will forever salute you as we do Already!! Bet that!
