B High is the perfect person to interview Bun B. Asking about songs that were hot in the streets and not focusing on main stream songs. Great job B High 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
and the trip is I gotta keep reminding myself that that's Wicked sitting there cause Ghetto Mafia has always been one of my favorite groups as well. me and my potnas fucked with them heavy down here in Texas.
The one thing I like about these interviews is that the interviewers are genuinely invested in the artists. It's not just a front... But you can tell that they are true students of hip-hop.
They actually interested in the people that they interviewed and do they homework. They want the audience to get to know the greatness of artist and the person
Best thing bout BHigh is dat he’s asking questions like we all would probably ask cause we grew up on all these legends and music but also capsule the moments the youngins need to know bout classic interviews salute and blessings BHigh keep dropping hits brother
It's definitely a classic. C-Murder & UGK - Akickdoe was trying to come for Break em off Something's #1 spot. P messed up Akickdoe with all those ad libs though 🤣
Yeah because they were black owned & independent making money. The big labels were upset they weren't getting piece of the action so they started signing southern artist & buying out the independent labels to get the sales & control southern rap hence the sound out today not as good as when the indies were running things
My dad was one of those promoters Bun B talked about “cleaning up money” 😂 as a matter of fact UGK and Spice 1 were my dads first show! He brought them to Amarillo tx back in ‘92. DJ Quik was supposed to show up, but the song Jus Lyke Compton had just came out and he was scared to come to Tx. My dad said Bun is such a down to earth dude, every time he went to Houston Bun showed him love! 💪🏾
@@youngtone2663Go listen to the sound “Jus Lyke Compton” in that song Quik went to San Antonio and had a bad experience with some gangbangers. My dad said Quik must’ve thought all of Texas was like that.
Bro. I've watched most of these videos related to Bun B's interview and I have a new found respect for the man. He's very intellegnt and very articulate. Also, the stories are amazing
B High listen you’re the Larry King of this Rap Shit for us I salute you brother & I know A Milli plus subscribers and other big things are coming your way
B high bruh your the new version of the source magazine !!! Start bringing in more of the women and your gonna become the new king magazine. Bruh you always deliver when it comes to the people we respect most in the culture and music !!! Much love homie but please drop the full interview
When I was in the Army a few of my boys was from New Orleans, Alabama, and Florida. Still cool with majority today and I will say some of the best people I ever met was from the deep south! Just good people but them catts definitely didn't play that bullshit! That's one thing the military will do for your life which is have you meet some good people!
Bun.B deserves his lyrical flowers!!! Tip, 3000, Wayne all get their props but Bun spit fire before them and during their run. Don't let the country twang fool you, his verse on Lil Jon's Grand Finale was filthy!!!
Mo B Dick album Gangsta Harmony was a classic R&B album but wasn't promoted at all. Bun B was the first non Cash Money and No Limit artist to be on their albums consistently. The Shocker album by Silkk is always one of my favorite albums
I think Bun confused songs. The verse Bun is talking about is the Outro from the Carter IV, not Grand Finale. If you listen in the interview Bun said Nas came after him and they had to stretch the beginning of Nas' verse. That was the Outro.
When I first heard Bun B I didn't even know who he was but kept hearing him on different mixtapes back in the early 2000's and knew then he the hardest ever!
Pimp C & Jim Morrison ....2 of my favs RIP...and i keep hearing that each of them wanted to do a blues record (album/project). I know for a FACT there's an Unreleased Pimp C song called "Low Down Dirty Blues" i saw it on a cassette demo tracklist from back around 1992. Then you got Jim Morrison doing blues tracks like 1 example is "Women Is A Devil" AND WHATS THE MOST RECENT DOORS LEAK W/ JIM MORRISON VOCALS?? "Paris Blues" 😎 omg i love both these artists forever. RIP CHAD L. BUTLER & JIM MORRISON 💯 A Mashup would be legendary.
Im from NYC and I was introduced formally to UGK maybe a year or so before Big Pimpin. I heard some joints and liked them but being from NYC that regional ish was hard to break thru. With that said since then, I have and BunB is a GOAT in the game and more importantly he is a true Griot of the Southern influence on the game. He has links to everyone from the 90s to today. Much Respect to BHigh for letting him tell his stories without interruption. Fat Joe I love you my brother but learn from BHigh and let the ppl tell the stories you got them there to tell. I'm truly enjoying these interviews
Why nobody ever talk about how silkk flow since 2004. Everybody talk about a Style he had that sold millions and millions of records bit don't credit how he evolved his flow
I was waiting for some no limit stories Need more no limit and ugk stories cause they was around each other alot an who else can tell them stories better then bun b
