@@kostasoly9318 ---- Well there is a reason they got relegated. And after all all these Clubs are financially very fragile. Hamburg and Hannover having an Investor with way to much power and the both other clubs spent to much money for players with not that great performances.
@@SuperSirianRigel ---- Thats exactly the reason why the MLS is deadly boring. No League relegations. So no matter how good or bad you are you stay at the same leauge. Thats the total oposite of a challenge. Also every owner (owner, Not Investor) can relocate a club whenever and whereever he/she wants. Franchise are the death to sports. The success becomes totally unimportant after all cause you stay and start at the same point every year. I dunno many leagues besides the big US-leauges that are closed Circles despite the fact that there are enough Teams for a real challenge/competition.
To be honest, I don't like all this concrete very much, but I'm glad that you enjoy the Ruhrstadion. I live very close to Bochum and I've been to this stadium several times, from the inside it's a bit more enjoyable. Not to be compared with these two fabulous stadiums in Bochum's twin town Sheffield, Hillsborough and Bramall Lane, of course.
Well, Schalke (Veltins Arena) is right back again now (I'm quite happy because it is the only Bundesliga team I always had a soft spot for, my hometown club is playing in the Regionalliga, the 4th tier in Germany). And HSV will at least be having the opportunity now to go up in the two play-off matches vs. Hertha BSC Berlin.
One thing this video really showcased is just how amazing Germany looks! That's a country I'd REALLY like to visit one day and absolutely go see a football match at!
Most videos like this are just showing pictures and the capacity with background music so I was surprised to have actual commentary on each stadium. Thanks for your effort :)
The Stadiums for Bundesliga are very nice, practical, and he's apologized for his German pronunciation, but he pronounced pretty well. I've been watching Bundesliga since I was child, and Bundesliga is the best soccer league back then, and still the best. However, I'd like to see retractable roof soccer stadium like Main stadium in Australian open ( tennis ).
Running tracks around the field 🏟 stadium a symbol for sports essentials 👌 residential area nearest to nearby and shape makes a difference likewise roller coaster style steel framework canopy extends outside of the stadium
Only stumbled upon your channel a few weeks ago, props to ya, every upload is just quality. You should give Jonathan Meades, Ian Nairn and Patrick Keiller a look (although, you probably have already, apols if so), they're right up your street.
Olympiastadium Berlijn , very beautiful, despite the athletic track you will see everything near. Also very nice that the stadium is built lower than the street level, like in a hole . When visiting the capital go check Hertha Berlin
I'm a fan of individual stands and terraces, gradual developments of traditional stadiums and open corners. So I dislike venues such as Augsburg and Hoffenheim (Sinsheim) the most, they just look like most of these new commoditized standard 'arenas' built in the last ten or fifteen years from the inside as from the outside. Rather boring imho. As a German, maybe it's also because I don't like both of these clubs either. I'd say my favourite Bundesliga stadium is the Alte Försterei in Köpenick, Eastern Berlin. If you want to see the real gems among German stadiums, you better take a look at the 2nd, the 3rd or even the 4th tier in my opinion. 1. FC Kaiserslautern has a great stadium with its Betzenberg and amazing supporters. Thank you for this video, kudos to your brilliant video productions.
Borussia Park has not been used for the World-Cup 2006 and will not be used for the EURO 2024, because the near cities of Cologne and Düsseldorf have Stadiums with a similar size, but are much more attractive as a city for tourists. Also the Veltins-Arena and SIgnal Iduna Park are under 100km away.
Yep. I played a fair bit of footy (the AFL/aussie rules that is...) on the Maifeld (near the bell tower) adjacent to Olympiastadion in Berlin... I can clearly see the ongoing match inside the stadium, while being the goal umpire🤣🤣
Nice! I've waited for this. Btw...Our Stadium(Borossia-Park) was never used for an WC or an Euro because the connection to the,,Autobahn" is not good at all. Sometimes you have to wait 2 hours to get away from the stadium.
WELL DONE 🇩🇪 FOR THE FOOTBALL ⚽️ STADIUMS YOU HAVE BUILT . I LOVE ❤ ALLIANZ ARENA IN 😍 ❤ MUNICH. AND HAMBURG STADIUM 🏟 😍 PLUS BERLIN STADIUM BUILT FOR 👌 1936 OLYMPIC GAMES AND 2006 WORLD CUP FINAL AND 2015 UCL 🏆 FINAL.
They also ignored other prominent stadiums in football crazy towns for the same reason (e.g. Bremen). They also won't play the Euro 2024 there either - instead they play in some 2nd league stadium in Gelsenkirchen :)
German league easily has the best stadiums in the world as a collective, no other country even comes close! If they had a better league in terms of competition, then they would have everything in place to be the ultimate football country, superior to that of the Premier league
@@Forestgravy90 ---- its not an Art contest. Stadiums are build for a reason. What worth is a Stadium you can't fill and without any audience? Best examples you can see after most Football World cups. 2002 superartificial and new build Stadiums they can't fill since the WC left.
Yeah definitely! Actually in the Bundesliga its a little tricky, because a lot of big teams with big stadiums are playing in 2nd division or even lower.
Well at least the Bundesliga Studiums will host the Teams as long as they play higher leagues. Your NFL owners can relocate the Teams like changing their socks. Also.is the Situation of german Studiums way better than at the NFL
