Bungou Stray Dogs is a show that hides its dark tones underneath comedy. The dudes who you said are the same person are two different people. The whole show is just one big reference. Like the characters are named after famous poets like Dazai Osamu, Chuuya Nakahara, and even Edgar Allen Poe exist. In the world the show takes place in it's kinda like reverse My Hero Academia. Only like 5 percent of the world have abilities. I hope you react to it because Bungou Stray Dogs is, in my eyes at least, a masterpiece and is still one of my favorite and most memorable animes. This may also seem random but could you one day react to the Beyblade Burst series openings?

Bungo Stray Dogs is an underrated show. It has complicated characters, great themes, and one of my favorite things is that it makes you want to look up the real world people their names are based off of since their names are based off of authors, some of their quirks included. I highly recommend it!

Edit #2: White haired guy and the Black haired guy are not the same people but they have a connection to the brown haired guy

It’s comedic and it’s really good. Highly recommended Note: almost every character in the show is a main character - show’s really character driven over Also ending 3 is the best song out of all of them, no competition

You should really watch this show, it’s so amazing yet so underrated! Also the dude *jumping off the building* is actually *jumping* willingly. Everything about that will be explained in episode 1. Also comedy is most definitely in this show, but it has dark undertones that will be very explored, give it a chance!

Definitely react to this show, when it came out it was overshadowed by other bigger anime that no one paid attention to this anime much but it's a very good anime. Also if you didn't know, Bungou means "literary". Why that is is because the characters in the show are all named after famous writers and poets, I dont know if you know any japanese writers but most of the characters are named after them. This isn't a spoiler, just shining light on their names and the anime title

"It feels like there's no comedy or its very little" oh boy you are in for a surprise

Without spoiling any of the plot I’ll try explain a bit to you. This show is based around two groups of people a good/bad you could say. These groups of people have super natural abilities and you’ll get to learn about each as you watch. The main character is the white haired boy and the plot follows his story but other two boys you see are the other main characters who are also very interesting. There is great Waifu choice you just haven’t seen them properly ;). Finally the action is incredible and the symbolism is also amazing. Also to answer your question a little bit the “beast” image that is constantly being shown is not just for aesthetic purposes and is very important actually. Anyway I really hope you pick up this show ! Thank you

This anime is about two organizations. The Armed Detective Agency and The Port Mafia. All the characters in this show share names with real life authors and have special abilities named after those authors books. Like the brown-haired trench coat guy is Osamu Dazai and his ability is called "No Longer Human" (one of Dazai's famous works), where he can nullify any person's ability by a single touch, kinda like Eraser Head from My Hero Academia. Bungou Stray Dogs is an under-rated show. It's a must watch on my list... And there's no vampires and were-wolves here...

Its weird that most reactors share that 'Vampire' vibe when they first see the OPs/EDs until you see a certain character design in the 2nd OP and think that's probably where they get it from. Also yes, react to this series please its such an underrated gem that deserves more eyes on it. Although there are good Waifu choices I do have to admit, this is more of the anime for the girls if your lookin' for that kinda thing XD. Still good overall show tho.

Bungou Stray Dogs is one of my all time favorites and I'd definitely recommend checking it out. Not a lot of people react to it but it's really good if you give it a chance. It has a lot of interesting characters and thus makes it seem like most of them have potential to be the main character so your confusion makes a lot of sense haha. Also, even though the openings and endings are quite dark, there is actually a lot of humor (especially in Season 1) but it gradually gets more serious with each season.

As someone who has analyzed the anime and manga, it was really cool hear your ideas knowing nothing about the show. There were actually some really cool things that you pointed out like the beast or tiger being both real and a metaphor. If you do end up watching the show you will see that both of those ideas come into play with Atsushi's (the silver haired boy who is the main character) character development throughout the series. In this series, all of the characters are named after famous authors or poets and so there are a lot of references and metaphors as a literature based series. Thanks! This was awesome

Trust me on watching the gintama openings. There is so many little things to try to notice. Its the best comedy anime ever with a much deeper, tragic underlying plot

I think it's interesting how you think there's no comedy! There's actually a lot, although most of it is dark comedy, the show has a lot of lighter tones as well. Also, each character is based on a literature figure from around the world (Bungou means literature) and the author reflects their personality and pieces throughout each character. It's a really interesting idea and I was really tempted to read their books/poems afterwards! Plus the character relationships are really funny and Dazai is one of my favorite anime characters in general. I think you should definitely react to it!

It's worth it! 12 episodes each season so a short series. And if you do get it just know there gifts (powers) are named after books so they might be a little different/weird. Please react to this

Aj you will not regret watching this show. It does have very dark and serious moments that will make your heart hurt but it is also so funny with amazing characters. The openings and endings don’t show it but there are a lot of comedic scenes but it’s mixed perfectly with the serious action and gore. Highly recommend 10/10. Something you may like to know is that every character in this show is based of a real person in Japanese history often writers and poets.

Bungou Stray Dogs is such an underrated show, I love it so much. This Anime goes from comedy elements to absolutly serious in seconds, but that fits to the atmosphere very well and thats really great about the show. Watch it I recommend it🤗

I can really recommend bungo Stray Dogs, the fights are pretty nice, the visuals are great aswell as the characters who are mostly named after writers from different country's. Would really enjoy a reaction from this show, especially season 2 gets hype :)

Anime is about Detectives with special abilities. It's definitely dark and action packed but there's also drama and bit of comedy. The guy falling from the building is the real protagonist and he is suicidal but they made the silver haired guy look the protagonist in the anime. Those two are different characters and the silver haired guy is just the only guy who transforms *so far*

yeah i say react to this anime when you have time. you will enjoy it as it's very underrated anime

This series is amazing, I would definitely suggest reacting to it. "Bungou" means "Literary" and this story really uses world literature as an integral part of the story. Great series.

Also they may have made it look super dark here but there's comedy in there, trust me :) you had some interesting ideas in this video I gotta admit but you're in for a suprise if you check it out!

Btw its not demons. Its just how they look. And Atsushi's ( Sliver haired) hair doesn't change colour. It would make sense if they look alike cuz in real life, they are brothers.

The characters are based on famous reallife authors (japanese, american, russian a few british and a few other authors so far) by the way, and have to do something with the authors most famous book, which you'll see later if you decide to watch it, I don't want to spoil.

Scrolling down I didn't really see much explaining so: Most characters are inspired by real life authors. Or characters in their books. Their super powers are also based on their works and the main character is the kid with the white hair. So far the anime (and movie) included authors from Japan, the U.S., France, Russia and one from England.

Stray dogs is a great show and I love the powers/power system. Its an added treat that since I like to read a lot that most characters are based on famous authors and their powers on famous literary works! Edit: the falling off a skyscraper is cliche but also not given that its totally something the character Dazai would do lol, cliche but not super cliche due to plot relevance, also they're different characters

Please react to the series! It's my favorite anime. It's an underrated gem and I barely hear people talk about it but I heard it's popular in Japan. Though I suggest you watch the sub. The dub is a bit odd but it's your choice.
