First Time Reaction to Bungo Stray Dogs Openings and Endings 

fun fact to this series, the end of the last season is still like 2-3 month ahead of the manga (monthly release) so it was insanly hype even if u knew the original source 😅

Great reaction ! Fun fact : the opening 1, 3 and 5 are sung by one of the voice actor and his group Grand rodeo which his a pretty popular group you surely listened to some of the opening they made for other anime ( the voice actor i talk about is the voice actor of jean in attack of titans too give you a example of one of his many roles ). And the opening 2 and 4 are sung by another of the voice actor of the anime and his band Screen mode. So amazing to see voice actor having a great musical carrier, they are so talented.

This is an absolutely incredible show. It’s one of my favorites. Although, it’s a shame that hardly anyone recommends it.

This show is better than JJK. HANDS DOWN. JJK is more made for zoomers and it honestly put me to sleep.

BSD really gets better every season, the last one is so full of plot twists it blows your mind. It also has this kind of special old school / dark / weird in a good way vibe with the OST and designs you don't really see anywhere else

Only watched it ages ago! Depressing, great actions, crazyness, surprising from my experience! ANd i saw one of the most crazy powers in action during a fight in this show! I need to catch up!

You really should see the 5ED is my favorite. And fun fact, the ending of season 5 cames first in anime, so the people of manga freaks out together

it, in fact, does NOT have a plot based on werewolves or vampires but theyre a heavy part of the story for sure. and youre so right about the art in BSD, its off the charts. we need BSD reaction seriessssssss

"Bungo" means "Literary".. as the most of the characters are based on real life authors and poets around the world basically and their "superpowers" are named after a known book or poet they wrote, so is some of their characteristics.

Finally you reacted to it 🤩🤩🤩 Bungo Stray Dogs is one of my favorite shows and i would bet on my whole bank account that you would enjoy this show. It has a very serious and sad storytelling, it starts a bit more light and goofy but gets very emotional in season 2, getting better with every season. The fifth season even outranked many famous shows in the rankings.

What you love the most about this show is the exceptional great character writing and storytelling. So many episodes have insane plottwists that blow your mind. Also, most of the characters are over 18 years old, it has a more mature story as a Seinen anime. Mental character developement, great backstories for every character and that not a single character feels "wasted" is one of the strong points of the series. The only weaker parts are maybe episode 5-7 (was it i think) were they put in a filler from the light novels.

Bungou Stray Dogs is truly one of my favorite animes. Thank you for reacting to the OPs and EDs! I fell in love with this anime since the first season until now and i fell in love with the songs too. Totally hyped at the thought of you giving this anime a try someday because it is, in my opinion, a masterpiece. I can’t help but to be happy when new people are checking it out. I’m glad that BSD is getting more recognition these days because they really deserve the hype. The way you enjoy the songs made me happy!

The first few OPs are sung by VAs from the show, one is the lead singer of a band. I won't spoil which characters though.

Finally BSD OPs and Eds are getting more recognition! They are a work of art, as with the show and story and manga itself. I love the fact you pointed out how good the colors are--it's one aspect I love about the show and the use of colors are not just for the OP and ED, they are so utilized well in the anime, making for breathtaking and sometimes very cinematic scenes. Storytelling, darkness, humor, action, great deep characters, BSD has it all (you're also right about the supernatural elements you've noticed, especially the vampiric elements.......). This is Victorian-esque in some way, and contains easter eggs if you know your world literature /myths/folklore (yes, world, not just Japan!). I really love BSD and I hope you get to watch it someday, heck, I'd pay for more reactors to watch it even if just in Patreon! More people need to fall in love with BSD.
