Would you try Burger King India's goat meat Whopper? Fast food restaurants in India don't sell beef, so Burger King makes their famous Whopper with goat meat. Goat has a very light red meat flavour and tastes great in Indian cooking because it soaks up spices well. It's a little bland in a burger, though!

We have a special place for cows in our society because they give us milk for the daily consumption and the other products... their pee is used in treatment for some diseases and we also drink it... their poop is used in painting the houses in the villages which kills the bacteria inside the houses...

Please don't spread misinformation. No indian ancestor ever said anything about beef being harmful for the environment, global warming or anywhere close to those subjects. Cows are basically revered in India because of their many uses, primarily because of the nourishment they provide with their milk, nothing else. It is not untrue that production and consumption of any kind of meat, including beef is an environmental hazard simply because of the carbon footprint hike caused by fodder production required to raise them. Again, meat production from ruminants like cow, goat, buffalo etc has the added hazard of methane emission but these are absolutely modern researches, nothing to do with indian ancestors.
