Biggest inspirations that got me interested in vlogging were Casey, Jesse Wellens, Phil DeFranco and Hank Green. Expect to see influences of each on a regular basis until I discover and settle into my own style.

The two-way conversation is a fantastic vehicle. It seems like I am witnessing a common thread with the sense of emotional intelligence with your crew. Now, we should always keep in mind that media like this can be addictive in its voyeurism so it is so easy to skew what feels like reality and how your business actually works when the cameras are turned off. But...man, it certainly feels like if folks are not in a good mood and finding ways to contribute to the Rooster Teeth culture than they really don't belong there. And that culture seems to be rooted in a set of core values surrounding "happiness", "content", "laughter", and importantly "deadlines". Oh, also -- get ready to be on camera at any time. Period. Whoever you are -- just be ready. There's just something...deeper in the organism of RT. And if anyone should be writing a story about RT it should certainly not be "um...how do you make money on RU-vid." It SHOULD be "how have you cultivated and sustained your business and its culture?" Funny people find the funny. Finding and hiring funny people that are better at being funnier than you and then getting them to stay is something else entirely.

Other than red vs blue I'd never seen anything made by rt until a few months ago, when I found funhaus. They fit right in when it comes to feeling like they're my friends. With out them, I would have missed out on all of rt. If you're friends can't say f u to your face than you're doing something wrong.

This is a great comment to show why we make projects like LT. They help new people discover us either by watching something that is a shorter experience or because media tends to report on it.

Starkiller100 although he might be doing them illegally now. ever since FAR part 107 came out last august the FAA made it illegal to use drones (including footage) for commercial use without a radio pilots certificate. I'm not saying Bernie doesn't have one, but since it didn't get a lot of news the new laws are surprisingly unknown to most people.

Burnie is a smart guy, I'm sure he knows what he's doing and if he realises he is doing something wrong he'd do the right thing in response

If Nintendo views this as an issue to cause a rift between RT and themselves, that would sadden me as I have always considered their hardware standards to be high, and if flaws are later found, they are quickly addressed. If anything, I think pre-releases like these could be considered free product testing by representatives of the public, as well as promotion. I can understand his perspective of course, and I wasn't trying to attack Burnie for it, just trying to show that his accident can be seen as a generally good thing for consumers and Nintendo as a whole. Thanks for giving another way to think about it. ^_^

The challenge is that it's just really consistent work on top of everything else I have to do. I probably shoot 10x what I use. I had to cut a segment of this that was really cool because I found out that what I shot was technically an illegal activity that other people were doing.

In his defense i wouldnt say im complaining, but i did only click on this video cause it said switch broken, and i assumed it meant there was some sort of issue with the switch that made it "broken" and it was Burnie talking about it. I watched the whole vlog and loved it but it was kind of click baity just a little. the fact that it said rt life and not blog was a throw off too. but nonetheless i enjoyed the video.

i no gonna lie i click this video just for the title but i enjoyed, Burnie sound like a really nice guy
