Love the homemade Yard mate.... It's needed seeing as the main farm is tight for space something I would alter personally if I play it

There's nothing wrong with the new yard but honestly don't put down a hedge as it makes the yard tight and you made the yard to have more space (like if you agree)

Since its an Irish now u have to get a new Holland tm190 and Kane or Herron silage trailers

Hi Daggerwin, Great video, as always! For you and anyone else reading this, if you are on map and using the PERIODIC PLOW REQUIRED option and you want to save time and money, get the LEMKEN PACK by ImpTS and use the Dolomit 9 plow (find the 4 M width plow) and use any of the cultivators from the Lemken Pack, as long as you chose a 4 M width. Attach the plow FIRST and then attach the cultivator. Be sure you cycle through your tools and lower the plow first and then lower the cultivator second. Then do your thing. Just as you plow, it cultivates as well and it does work. The big drawback is it takes a long time on large and hilly terrain.

You can tern with the PTO on the power harrow because of the top link and the arms on the tractor .

turning with that harrow is perfectly fine because its mounted right to the tractor, so the pto angle only changes when raiseing and lowering, it if it was a pull behind then it would matter

Get a kane trailers

get drive control then you will have 4wd and diff lock so it wont soin like that and would look good if put dual wheels on when cultivating

For a map this small, you might be better off with a subsoiler over a plow. Where I live, the ground is actually too tough for plows, so we need to use subsoilers.

Farmer near me was powerharrowing about 4 and yes he was turning while doing it but not over tight turns

U should not turn when power harrowing as the pto is not adapted to turn however if u were to buy a wide angled pto like on a mower u could then turn with a power harrow on

The took kit on this map is transportable so you don't have to get machines into the shed you can carry the tool kit out.

Yes you can definitely turn with a power Harrow in the ground, although the correct way of doing your turn is to lift the machine slightly so that it isn’t at full working depth, but in the ground just enough to take your tractor wheelings out as you turn. Clearly with FS you can’t do this though....

Yes you can turn with the PTO in use, because the third point and the arms wont let the PTO "turn" into a break point. so it is perfectly safe IRL to do it ;)

Daggerwin with a power Harrow I recommend you don't leave it in the ground when turning but you can turn it a small amount hope that helps you great video 👌

pretty sure that Kuhn plow can be extended/pushed out to a more coarse angle. being the "vari-angle" type

Slight turns are ok using the power Harrow but not cornering

Always lift the power harrow when turning....there is a feature in newer tractosr where the pto shuts off as well when you lift the implement....Greetings from nothern Greece!!

Suggest Agricad mods from Steenkamp Modding, based on South African manufacture there are a number of different plows and ground working machines in the package. Before you bye however check the horse power required. I have the big plow with a 700hp Challanger. Needed to turn cut down forest land into farm land and not finding all the stumps first. Choose wisely to suit your terrain as some of the plows do not fold up or reverse.

I like the music choice on the 12:25 time lapse. It suits the work well. :)

The case magnum looks really good except the back mud gards. - you should not turn with the powerharrow - with the standard tires it looks way better and more realistic. - with the FOV on 60 it looks way better I drive a lot on a case magnum 7220 😍 Nice Video by the way

Daggerwin to change the FOV of the case. Open i3d in GE. Select IndoorCamera in the SceneGraph. Select Camera Tab in the Attributes Panel. Change Field of View attribute to 60 (Giants default all indoor cameras FOV to 54.432) Save

Daggerwin as far as i know you should not turn with a power harrow, and the workshop trigger if you pick up the tool box you can move the trigger, so you don't need to squeeze into the shed anymore.

When u are manuvering the plow in transport mode around a corner try stay to the near side of where your turning it will help your tail swing

You really should have duel wheels on for the plow. Some time you should do a map where you only use tractors from an old iron pack like farmall, internationals, and ji case would love to hear your opinion to this idea

On a fixed three point mount u shouldn’t have a problem turning but I don’t recommend turning with anything in the ground on a dramatic turn slight turns u should b ok

Please don't do anything too mad with the series daggerwin, it's fantastic so far. It's the kind of map that wouldn't suit the usual business stuff you do on maps like green river, like the pellets etc. Just my thoughts.

Sell the new holland 8340 and get a massey ferguson from the 300 series pack:)

This doesn't normally bother me, but honestly when you switched back to the Case it was difficult to tell as they're all covered in mud! Sort it out mate. ;)

It's not recommended to turn with the powerharrow in the ground because the tines will break if you turn to sharp

dunno daggerwin because if you hit a stone or anything you could break the peto shaft its like plowing except your cultivating :)

For the maize silage please can u use an old class jaguar forager as they are quite common in Ireland

After trailing this map, I ended up putting a yard in field 6, helpful really.

Only slight turns that are no more than 90° or else you risk bending the shaft which costs more than the pto

daggerwin you should have got the lemkin pack plough/cultivator, allows to create feild and ploughs aswell

If the power harrow was a basic roto-tiller turning wouldn't be a problem as long as you went slowly, but this one seems to have fixed ripper blades ahead of the rotary blades so turning sharply with it in the ground would be a bad idea. It could damage both the implement and the 3 point linkage in real life.

Totally agree about the FOV. That's the one thing that always bugs me in FS17.

I know grain isn’t the priority but you should add a silo onto the yard

love the new yard im playing this map and ive done the same but on a bigger scale over time i have stuck to smaller gear though im finding it hard seeing you use such big gear on this tiny map you say you wont go crasy with big gear but you already have gone far too big that plow is so big bro and i think the tractors are too big too just seems unrealistic to me as this mao is set on a small dairy farm from the 70s and you have all this massive gear

I've used the same field for another yard (just plowed and cultivated I'm on console) the rest I turned into an orchard.
