Dustin, try this next time...run that light cord across the roof, under the driver wiper, across the hood, across to the bed and through an empty tailboard chain slot to your socket. The excess at the lights. Try that and see if it works better. I find it's quicker and no chance of dragging, plus the wires are not crimped in the door. Good job.

Another great video Dustin. Two thoughts; one, I'm glad my company doesn't do repo work, be careful, stay safe. Two, I agree with you, I wouldn't like those wheel straps either. At the very least they should have a short piece in the center connecting the two sides, but I'd still rather choke the wheel.

I'm with you on this repo action... watching it though has me thinking (Oh I would hear him out there with all the noise from the truck, chains, etc.) I always hear something and looking for what the hell was that. You channel is good entertainment along with ASP & FHP chases. Nothing good on cable tv.

Awesome video Mr. TowTruck Dustin! It is a shame that this Subaru Forester has broken down on the side of the road. I have a Subaru Forester that is very similar to that one and my family has owned it for almost 14 years! It is very reliable and it is a great car! Do you know what broke on this car? Also, these have a mechanical steering column lock that engages when the ignition is in the off position, so if you encounter another one of these Foresters from the late 2000s or early-mid 2010s, be careful while loading it on your tow truck, or you’ll have to deal with the steering locking up and you’ll need the key to unlock it!

I watch towtrucker on RU-vid also. Out of Atlanta, GA. He tows vehicles from Apt complexes mostly. Sometimes confrontations, he handles very well. Pretty short videos, really nice guy, no night work. Dustin is great too.👍🏻💙💜

A repo wrecker I once drove I had a blackout button, you push that button and all the lights go out except for your floorboard lights they switched to red and the dash camera would switch to night mode and send the feed to the reverse camera TV screen

Idk y ppl think it's ok to slip and hide when their car is in repo status. After you exhaust all your options to keep the car but at some point you got to come to terms with yourself and let it go! It'll be easier on you in the long run credit wise and they'll try to reason with you better if you get the funds to get it back but usually by this point fees and back payment you might as well right it off. If they got to chase you down to get their car then they will suck you hard on your name credibility next time you go try to get another one. And while they chasing you down you may end up in court over it
