Most RTO companies will try for at least 3 months to get payment and in contact with customer. Own a building company and you cannot imagine how many times we have been chewed out for "STEALING" their stuff. Once it comes on our property we are under NO leagl abligation to allow the renter to get their stuff. We try to give them a little time. But that is out of the goodness of our hearts, not because we have to. And going thru some of these repos will absolutely make your skin crawl!!!!!

Once for me, after a separation of 15-year marriage. Never again.

I lost a 2 year old truck back in 18 because of too many shutdowns for weather and market. Didn't have enough time in for Unemployment Insurance either. Live way out in the country and they informed me when they were picking it up and I had it all cleaned up and all the paperwork in a folder and such. That just took the wind out of my sails for quite a while and sure made me feel low. Being I bought it new it had just had a full oil change done by the dealer as it came with a service package. Somebody at an auction sure got a nice truck I gotta admit.

Josh is much more professional. This unit was filled with the personal belongings of the people and this guy didnt even use the mule to keep it halfway level to keep from destroying said property. People fall on hard times , is no reason to not care and tear up what they have.

I personally don't get some people and how they think these days. I admit I don't have a lot coming in, but I manage to make sure I have a roof over my head, food to eat, car insurance & gas then what I have left I put back for a rainy day.

This generation believes you need fancy haircuts and bling to compete with one another. Our generation believed in securing a place of our own to live with no landlords. We bought old clunker cars and learned to work on them. Those tactics got us by until our hard work at our jobs (that we were grateful to have) earned us enough to upgrade our vehicles. We believe in going to work everyday and it was wrong for us to miss work. We felt guilty if we missed work. We knew it was costing both our boss and us money if we missed work so we did everything we could not to miss work. That's how we moved up in the company to make better wages. I was a boss for 30 years before I retired. One of the reasons I retired was because this generation believed they could take off work whenever they wanted too. It didn't matter that customers were waiting for their orders. The one saying that I heard so much was "I was looking for a job when I found this one🤨" like they didn't care that they had just gotten fired. A week later they would come with their wife and both were begging for his job back again and apologizing. From what I'm witnessing is a lot of this generation doesn't care anymore how things work out for them.

We had a bad streak 30 or so years ago and they repoed my truck I knew I was at fault so I was out helping get the truck unloaded ready to go ( I was a big guy then 6-2 and 325 ) the guy told me that when I first walked out I scared the shit out of him because he didn't know how I would react.....but after talking a while he offered me a job repoing and I worked that for a while until my work opened back up

There was not much in it I removed most of it before I started the video

If I remember correctly, they are free to go to most or all of these repo facilities and gather any belongings in the building. It's just that sometimes they have to take it with a lot of stuff in it because it's too tedious to remove it all and it would be left outside and exposed. I have seen some shed repo people have to take sheds with the smelliest toilets and such in them that didn't even have proper plumbing.

Pretty sure thay could go pick up any personal belongings.

@@Shedhaulershane, I used to operate a remote controlled Articulating Boom Crane for a wholesale roofing supply company down here in Florida. So I’m definitely familiar with the concept that no matter how efficient you are… things take time. Especially when you’re having to operate around and/or under obstacles. (I.e.- power lines, other homes, people, etc.) I always got a kick out of our upper management’s unrealistic expectations of how fast they thought the job should take, compared to how long it truly takes. Even when you and your team are moving efficiently, productively, and with purpose. First you have to find a spot to park this massive, heavy truck with a 40ft bed. The front has to be pulled right up to the house (about 1-2 feet away), yet have enough clearance on the sides to extend the 10-15 foot out riggers/ stabilizers, because you’re going to be extending and hovering a pallet weighing 3000-5000 lbs above someone’s house as you and your team spread the materials evenly across the roof. Not to mention, that this “brand new crane” had mechanical issues straight out of the factory, so it had a mind of its own and would just begin moving around without you even touching the remote. So then you had to shut it down, climb down off the roof, shut the truck down, and restart the system… over and over again throughout the day. This went on for a year and a half, and was even to the point that we had a mobile crane tech from the manufacturer following us from job to job (Bless his soul!). It was frustrating because it was a leased truck, still under warranty… yet, no matter how much time and money was wasted on temporarily fixing it, our company’s management wouldn’t just trade it out. Honestly, it was a MASSIVE liability, and became WAY too dangerous to operate it under those conditions. Finally it got to the point that I refused to operate it any further, because as I was sliding the forks into a shingle pallet it had started jumping up on its own right when the fork tips slid in, which then caused pressure to build up on the forks. All of the sudden the fork attachment, that weighed nearly 500lbs on its own, shot out like a cannon… right towards my face. Luckily I have fast reflexes and was able to get my arm up to block it, but DANG… It all happened in the snap of the fingers and it was scary!
