For something that involves rare passes and almost no takedowns this racing is thrilling to watch. The breakneck pace and absence of rubber banding in the other racers compared to AI really seems to demand that you push hard without crashing. And that's just to keep up, let alone have a chance at gaining a position.
@@Mint-Lynx In single player it mostly is, online though uses the same pattern every time. So eventually you will memorize the traffic and can predict where it's going to be at. For example that car right before the dirt jump on lap 1 will always be there, it's easy to crash into it if you're not used to it being there. You can go laps without crashing if you know the traffic well enough.
This is true, but all that goes out the window as soon as you crash once. Running laps without crashing is easier said than done, the game has too much unpredictability for that. One of the reasons I like the game so much, you never know when your going to win or lose a race, even if you know the track inside out.
@@RivalGT Yeah, also the traffic is different depending on which car you drive since each car has different stats. Someone could have the traffic memorized with the faster cars but not have it memorized with the slower cars.
