What a great job they did telling their experience this summer, it felt like we were there with them. It puts it in perspective when you hear from people who were really affected by this, and a little guilty for complaining about the smoke a thousand miles away. Thank you!
Oh my goodness. We took our RV through Canada and Alaska this summer. We were driving through Kamloops and heading east on Hwy 1 on 8/18/23. We saw the fire across the lake (not sure which lake) and got the evacuation notice on our phones for Quaaout Number 1. The smoke was so thick. We prayed for everyone affected as we drove through. It was very unsettling for us, but heartbreaking for those affected. Thank you for sharing your experience. 🙏
Isn’t that crazy?!?!! It’s a bizarre thing to see in person for sure and we never saw any fires in actual populated areas. Hope you had an amazing trip!!!
So wonderful to see Denise and Kory. She looks in good health. I was worried since they havent posted but now realize they had other worries with the fires. Lets hope 2024 will be an excellent year for them. Sincerely , Elle
ABSOLUTELY! Denise and her daughter are both currently cancer free and Denise is still working diligently on her heart damage caused by the chemo. She does look fabulous!
We live nearby and my brother has a cabin in the Anglemont area and this report is very accurate. However the hope for change is probably just a wish because the government rarely finds anything wrong with its self. From where your friends live in Magna bay if you look from the lake up and over the mountian the huge valley that runs the length lake has been completely burned, hundreds of thousands of acres of prime forest. Its very sad that so much was lost and it will take years to get back to something near normal. Thanks for your videos we really enjoy watching them.
