Quite possibly the best backcountry aviation video I’ve seen yet. Those passes over, between and beside the mountains...are you kidding me!!!

The music more than makes up for the lack of cockpit audio. you have the best music of all the Flying Cowboys. Rock on Scott. rubber down...Dacron up!! keep on flyin'.

My dad, now deceased, was a WWII pilot, then crop dusted, then barn-stormed. Finally, spent many years as an instructor. He loved every part of it. It’s all good.

10:30 absolutely blew my mind.

How many people have seen the real backcountry in the U.S. ?....... few I'm sure ( I have crossed the back side of Oregon .... and that is a WOW ) so a big Thank You for giving us the Air tour of some of the most WONDERFUL sights in the U.S. Did you overnight on the Mountain ?, .......I bet a Sunrise and a Hot Coffee from that last peek is to die for.

Not just Scott's best vid, really one of the best FC videos. That dive off the bluff was stunning. Looks like Leslie Gulch makes a cameo near the end. Also, on the last knoll, lots of tracks from previous landings. I suspect Steve Henry has visited a time or two...

Just came across this. I grew up in Southern Idaho near Twin Falls. My grandparents had a ranch in the Snake River Canyon just below Hells Canyon. Good to see home views again.

Trent, love your videos! I was an AOPA member before '84 when I had a logging accident. Now a quadriplegic, I'm not able to fly anymore. I am a retired firefighter from Portland OR and was raised in Idaho. I'm familiar with areas you guys fly. My experience was in my '78 172 and a '82 P210 that I had interest in. N5162W was destroyed in a unfortunate accident by a drunk pilot flying for a bank that leased it.. It was known icing and CAT2 approach certified with wx radar. Pilot failed to de-ice the wing. He crashed and burned one mile off the runway near Burns, OR. My wife is rated instrument, instructor, multi-engine, commercial sailplane, and towed gliders in WA and Aspen. She flew float planes in Alaska spotting fish for fishing boats. We REALLY enjoy the STOL events and my wife keeps saying...yeah! I want to do that! You really fill a dream for our enjoyment. Oh, by the way, I'm a design engineer with lots of machining and welding experience and a couple of patents behind me. I'd love to help in any way I can physically... Frankpdx25. Good thing your cockpit audio didn't work! Loved every bit of it. Not only helped in segmenting the video but most of all your choice of music alongside the imagery was spot on. Man, what a countryside. Had your audio worked it would probably have ended up a very different video and it would have been a shame, as I wouldn't like to miss this one right here :)
