I meet up with Nick and Ty for a quick afternoon of playing on the river and the hills near my house. Thanks to GoPro for the new Hero 7. I am still playing with the settings getting used to it, First impressions are really good.

Between Scott, Trent, all the Cowboys. I can't get any work done in the last 2 months since I've been addicted to all of your vlogs and adventures. Thank you guys for sharing your passion with us. If it wasn't for all of you, I would have never thought about aviation as you all portrait it to be. I have my first discovery flight tomorrow and continue on to attain my private and hopefully one day fly side by side with all of you. How many hours do you guys feel you need to have in a dragger, to really master backcountry flying safely? Also, will Nick get a vlog already, I'd love to hear about his experience building his Kitfox ground up. Give me some encouragement to either buy one, or build one.

Hi Raffi, Thanks for the compliments. That is awesome that your are working towards your PPL Get in a Taildragger as soon as possible. As for how much time is needed to master flying, I will forever consider myself a student there is always something to learn. Enjoy the journey

That has to be the Payette heading to the dam. I have flown along it on my BMW GS more times than I can remember and it always felt like flying until I saw this. Sighhhhhh well done!

I love bar hopping. Nice video Scott, keep it up. Just a small suggestion, I don't want to sound like one of those guys, but you might consider getting some under water egress training. They strap you into a mock cockpit and kick you off the side of the pool. Safety divers were standing by just in case of course. I took it a few years ago and found it very valuable and learned a few things, but hopefully I will never need it.

That was a ton of flying fun packed into 7 minutes! It looks like (almost) all the cool kids fly Kitfoxes -- can't wait to see what the 915 does for Trent. LOVED your rolly-hills dogfights at 2:05. That's got to be what it's all about. You guys are blowing up GA in the best way. Is that a Beringer tailwheel on Nick's bird? Think I'm gonna watch this one several more times.

Nice vlog Scott, I am quite impressed with the dynamic range of that new GoPro, the video with hard back light comes out well balanced. I like the perspective from the wings when dipping the wheels into the water, can see the plane pitching and you having to work it to keep the prop dry. As for the twists through the valleys and mountains footage, it's quality stuff and a reward to watch as an aviation enthusiast and addict of the Flying Cowboys channels. Keep it up, I approve!
