It's the second video i watched on your channel and i couldn't resist saying it: you are greaaat at explaining things! Thank you for the clarity, simplicity and richness of the content. Seriously it is the first video about data analytics field that didn't make me stressed to consider entering it❤
Thank you so much ❤ that really means a lot and you're welcome! So glad the video helped make things less stressful because it is really simpler than a lot of people make it out to be!
Thanks for uploading this !! Everything is explained in a very simple and great way. Great to know one can transition as well from one role to another. Currently working as a DA but m missing the communication part due to my sales background. Will be switching to a BA role soon.
Hello Agatha thank you for this wonderful content. Can i know how to get data analytics job at Amazon and i am from India and how can i apply for them? Can i join Amazon as a fresher as a indian graduate
Hi agatha..can you share us the questions that are asked to you in the interview like case studies, and telephonic conversation..that might be useful for the upcoming freshers to prep earlier.
I am contracted as a Business Analyst in the IT data project , and i perform BA and DA roles simultaneously. I do data analysis and write requirements for dev team and on top of that i also conduct team scrum ceremonies. Honestly, combining the roles works for me, and keeps opportunities for my carrier open.
Which of the data tracks can a total beginner start with, who knows nothing about data analysis? For instance, data analysis with R, data analysis with python, data analysis with SQL, data analysis with Power BI and so on.
Python is optional for junior positions, don’t waste time, you will learn it once you get a job, sql and s/sheets is a must, statistics, storytelling and vizualisation tool is nice to have
@@aleksandra8579 Except you look at job listings and everybody and their grandma is now asking for python knowledge. Even at the entry level. The job market is cooked.
Been a Business Analyst for going on 7 years now. Looking for a new path that doesnt involve going into management (Management can be soul sucking). The BI Analyst role might be a nice transition. Going to do some deep diving into this role to see if it might be a fit.
This was so helpful, I’m getting a MiS degree and was unsure if I wanted to focus on Data or Business Analyst. I am so glad you said you can transition because I want to be sure of my major..I have done so much research and found that this was on top of my list. It gave me clarity :)
Hi Agathakang I'm currently finishing my Data analyst degree and I wanted to know if it would be wise to do a risk assessment/analysis certificate or a certificate in communications would that benefit me? Or would a business analysis certificate suite me best
I found your channel just this morning, Agatha. Thanks for all your well-edited content! I’m a Realtor looking to switch industries into an analyst role. My Bachelors degree is in Psychology. I have strong soft skills and presentation skills which lead me to believe I’d be better suited for BA role. However, I’m an introvert and as mentioned in one of your older videos, several tasks within the DA role allow for more autonomy and solo-work which sounds amazing. My questions for you are - 1) which position has the better entry-level job outlook for someone switching industries? 2) how can one stand out in the sea of applicants for these entry level roles when many of the job descriptions have requirements that state 3+ years or more experience? Thank you!
hi ive been watching your videos for the last month and wanted to ask when should i apply for jobs as i do know sql due to my experience as a backend developer and have done the course by google called foundations of data and done a couple of projects including tableau and ml so I'm a bit confused on what i should do next ?
Wow you’re really great, I’m deciding what I want to study and these two are definitely in my top 5, you’re channel it’s perfect to help me decide! Thanks!
Business analyst need a lot written down and good communication skills from my experience thank you for making easy understandable.. Guys share this video let’s your friends get this knowledge….
