Don't sell yourself short Shawn. You're a father, You have children. Just look at what you have done by working hard , you and your lovely wife. You have been an inspiration to many. Keep working, keep building, keep moving forward!
That’s definitely a dedicated company that have definitely put in the time over the years and have definitely made it possible for them!! Definitely awesome for sure!!! Remember Spencer keep up all the hard work buddy and you can get there also buddy!!
The salt dog spreader on a dump truck is the way to go if you ask me. Depending on the size of the truck you have the capability to carry up to 10-12 ton of salt, and it really lays down the salt! We go through probably 20t per event, it makes pretty quick work of it! It is also possible to run with the bed up, you just gotta pay attention to overhead lines and whatnots. Definitely the way to go!
Those salt dog spreaders are great, I truly love them we have 3 of them the only downside to them is if you have a plow truck that does a fair amount of backing up it can get costly. We had to repair 2 from guys backing up on post. The auger and drive shaft get bent so you got to replace the whole motor that drives the auger not just the shaft. The auger can be bent back but it's best to just replace it.
Thank you Austin for allowing us to invade your shop. We had a great time together today! We appreciate your families hard work building such a successful business.
Shawn thanks for stopping by and walking through everything. At the end of day it’s the guys that I work side by side with day in and day out that are like family that make all this possible from sidewalk crew members to truck drivers to equipment operators, to the machanic these guys are the true snow fighters as I call it that keeps things going and I can’t say thank you enough to them for helping make it what it is today. Hope you guys enjoyed stopping by and your welcome back anytime. See ya out on the streets when the snow flys. ❄️
------- I think SPENCERS LAWN CARE has a couple white vehicles without that major branding on them. Can't wait to see the start of the FLEET if you do get those two wrapped also this spring, with the good snow season. Love you guys!
yup....loved the video....spencer can be that big....and bigger....no doubt. GB....is not about the $$...is about the love to the business and commitment....not ....$.... family business.....$$.....follows..... thank you
What a great video!! Sure was nice of Austin and his family to let you video their business. And it must be a big deal. Blessings to them and to you and TQ. Y'all all hard working people. Love to my two favorites!!
Awesome setup! Thanks for sharing Shawn & Austin. Very inspirational for sure! Crazy numbers were going through my head the entire video of what they are probably doing in snow removal alone. Great vid!
Hey Shawn, great video, radiant floor heat is the ticket, great system. When you do these videos on equipment, trucks, etc..if you can, shoot us a little information on the equipment, size, HP, etc, just a thought. Thanks
Awesome video thanks for taking us along. They have a super set up. Austin you have an awesome family business. Sean you & TQ keep doing what you are doing & you will be there. They have been in business 33 yrs. See you next time 🕊🙏💙🇺🇸
Awesome video Shawn. Father and son definitely has a top notch operation going for sure. It’s amazing the ideas folks come up with to make things a lot easier for operations. Thank you Shawn and Father and son for the great video and letting us in on what a big operation does. Keep up the great work y’all!!!!
should let them know an atv lift is great for lifting mowers up to a comfortable working height. local company has one and i saw it the one day being used and bought one on the way home wish i had got it sooner what a time and back saver.
The dump trucks you have to lift the bed, I just get a big spreader for the dump like the pick ups. If you just do parking lots, they are fine but once you get near power lines and stuff it can get tricky
Well Sean I'm in Northwest Arkansas it's snowing outside not real heavy but it's coming down we're at 4° with a wind chill of 18° imagine it's coming your way I'll take care it's Thursday here and y'all out there doing your plowing and stuff take care of you and TQ when it snows here people seem to go crazy as always wrecks all over the interstate and most of the people live here you think they'd be used to it by now I might move from New Orleans up here in 2003 and I've never been in an accident yet and I work for the road department so I was always out in a mess good luck to you guys and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Thanks for the tour, anything you can do in house the better. Looks like I'm going to get the ice and you're gonna get snow. I started using Cargill green salt because whenever I would leave salt in the trucks for a night or two it always seemed like it would freeze and clog up around the augers. Stay safe and have a great day guys!!!
That was an awesome video of a company doing the hard work to get where they are today! Just having a goal to have and go down the road to look forward to build the business however BIG you want to make it!!! Be safe and praying for you and your family 🙏🙏 🙏
Those hydraulic driven under tailgate salt spreaders are what we use at Howland Township Road Department and it's the standard for most municipalities. They're great if your dump trucks have central hydraulics. For dump trucks with electric over hydraulic bed lifts you can get under tailgate spreaders that are electric motor driven
Great video Shawn. Your friend Austin,& his family have a wonderful business. Hard work makes success like this!!! SLC will continue to grow as well. Thanks for sharing.💯❤️👍🏾😀🙋🏽♀️✝️🙏🏾🇺🇸
Shawn, you and TQ have done a fantastic job of growing your company. Would be willing to share with us how large you would like to become? Do you foresee landscape construction? You appear to have mainly new equipment. Do you consider good used equipment? Possibly a small to mid-sized dump truck and wheel loader? Will your area support the size of operation that you envision?
A lot of companies by me will buy used municipality salt trucks that are under cdl requirements and are in pretty good shape. Keep an eye on municipal auctions and be willing to travel and you’ll get one all set up for a fraction of the price of a new one. They’re generally pretty well maintained trucks.
Amazing setup. Awesome how all the trucks has the company name on them. Everybody can tell when they do their awesome work cause of the name on all the trucks. Awesome video as always
Very interesting all the equipment they have up there, i have 2 friends in ohio they were getting ready today for the storm that is coming. God bless you and your family
Thank you, that was very interesting. Great life info - Australia is similar in that you work hard and put the time you can generate a good business and life.
Tom I thought you looked familiar. Lol I couldn't figure out where I remembered you from. 😂 my bad you should have said hi. Might not be at that guy's place again this year. He didn't pay his final bill lol
Thank you for your videos mate.but all thanks to Harvey milton who taught me how to make trade and increased my Crypto from 6 to 21BTC now. No one really knows what is going to happen in the market and I know you are only saying what you think will happen based on the past. It is yours and my opinion so people should make their own Investment choices based on their own
I think I'm blessed because if not I wouldn't have met someone who is as spectacular as expert Mrs Kimberly. I think she is the best broker I ever seen
I'm sure her service is available outside the US, but you gotta ask her first. Im positive because have a friend who stays in Australia and using her services too.
It was really amazing when I also started trading with Mrs Kimberly , she is the best at what she does with an initial investment of $5,000) i made $17,400 in just a week of trading with her,
