I love how Brett tried to be subtle and not look at Eddy, but Eddy is just rolling around on the bench wheezing and not even trying to hide the fact that he's watching Brett.

A friend of mine and I used to busk in college. We played WF Bach Viola duos, some Renaissance dance music, and anything we could find which was written for two violas or could be arranged for two violas. It was quite lucrative. Hamming it up always brought in more money, and acknowledging people whether they were putting money in the case, or just making eye contact as they walked by also seemed to be good practice. A little nod of the head, or a "thank you" when money goes in the case always seems appreciated, and will sometimes earn repeat contributions. We made enough money in one week of busking in the evening to pay for our books for the whole semester. In addition to that, it was a heck of a lot of fun! On our last day out we put up a sign which said, "No contributions please. This is our departing thank you concert." We had lots of people who stopped, listened and watched, then thanked us roundly before they left. I went on to a career with a major historically informed English chamber orchestra, but I kept a little place in my heart for those busking days. If you can find a safe place to try it, then do it! It's fun.
