that's kings with a lower-case k. The irony of a brand like this is that if it gets a reputation for boosting the height of short guys, people will assume you're short and insecure cos you're wearing them XD They have some brogues with what looks to be a ridiculously high heel for dress shoes. I know dress shoes have heels, but not about a cm high
"dress shoes have heels, but not about a cm high" a 1cm is not much at all, less than a width of an index finger, most shoes have an outsole thicker than that really
Exactly! At some point you're going to have to take them off & if your height rlly is that much of a deciding factor, everything is just gonna come apart at the seams.
this scam so freaking funny, not only do they make fun of short people but they also scam them by 100 bucks PLUS not even doing the MINIMAL checks that they are promoting, its so freaking stupid
It's just how the female brain usually works; not even their fault. Same way it's not a man's fault if he isn't attracted to bigger women. It would be great if attraction was based on reason but it's just not.
bro they all do that. coming from a 6'2 guy, I know a guy, maybe 5'8, who got spat on when approaching a girl at a bar. I've never dealt with rejection like that. He's not ugly and pretty good socially, but yea being tall is like having money or being popular, better to have it than not when it comes to women.
Who is this supposed to fool? People say that one of the first things women notice about a man's clothing is his shoes, and if these are specifically advertised as "lift shoes" then wouldn't women see these and immediately know the guy is trying to look taller? That would immediately make them look less confident.
You really don't want to be around the kind of people who care about you being "too short". Such vapid, shallow people are not worth a single second of insecurity. There's someone for everyone and you're way better off waiting for that right kind of person who's not going to reject someone for their height.
I am 5'6 and I've never been so insecure as to want these. If you need these to help your ego, your prospective partner deserves to know so they can prepare for your bullshit
Thing is that whole “you’re not good enough as it” intro is not realistic. I’ve seen MANY MANY women brutalize men for being short, or overweight, or ugly. So a lot of guys try their best.
anyone who's been outside and isn't still in high school knows that being short doesn't really prevent you from much, as far as romance goes. Being ugly does though. As well as the outward expression of romantic entitlement
Oof these are gonna compress fast. I had a principal with a height complex and it was v obvious they were using similar shoes to try and look taller and we absolutely mocked them for it
The people that make fun of you for being short are not the ones that you went to impress. They don't deserve your attention. Save your money and just work on yourself :)
I'm 5 2" and never had an issue attracting women. Height really isn't as important as most guys tell each other it is. These shoes are definitely not worth it.
LMAO😂😂😂 Women prefer tall men, survey after survey has. proven it. So stop with your misinformation trying to make short guys feel better. Facts are Facts!
@@wstlndiesel "prefer" and "will only date" are two very different things. The only thing getting in the way of dating for any guy is shitty hygiene or an attitude full of red flags. Beyond that, I'm only speaking from experience.
All things considered its not a bad looking shoe and I recently been suffering from plantar fascitis and I can tell that shoe would be comfortable for daily chores/routines
Barefoot walking can already make you taller because it fixes postural asymmetries and lengthens your leg bones/muscles. Gradually transition into it though
I’m a fan of Kiziks, which have a kind of gimmicky but functional “step in” heel design, but they are a bit spendy. I’d love to see what’s in em for the money.
Could you review the timberland faux fur? I recently got a pair and want to know if it’s the same as the standard premium or if the “fur” makes it a weaker boot
Can we get a cut in half video for the brand _Vessi_ 🙏 🙏 They've been getting shilled big time by a lot of RU-vidrs lately and like all footwear companies they make some bold claims about their shoes and I'd like to know if it's all bullshit like 99.999% of stuff that gets shilled by RU-vidrs. 👍👍
I'm by no means a tall guy, but the fact that shoes like this exist is absolutely hilarious to me. Like bro, you're going to have to take them off at some point 🤣 what a stupid fucking concept.
We’re back in the 70s. Let’s get some perfectly adequate footwear and nail 4” of wood on the bottom. All these are is a modern version of platform shoes.
I'm 1.90 and I don't consider myself an ugly lad but if being taller mattered for the opposite gender I would have a harem or something. 😂 Seriously lads if a woman doesn't like you because you are on the shorter side you will be better without that person in your life. 🎩
I want to be able inflate or deflate the the shoes as needed. Sometimes, I need more traction in the winter, and I might want to lower the pressure a little.
@@verypolite-iw8wgAnd what are you "flexing" exactly? Your deep seated insecurities? You're insecure and want other guys to feel insecure too? I don't get it bro.
@@verypolite-iw8wg I know you're most likely trolling, but you should ask yourself why you feel compelled to make others feel inadequate if what you say is true. You might have some insecurities of your own that need dealing with.
this looks like Plantar fasciitis waiting to happen. these shoes could send you to the hospital! Rose Anvil it would be interesting to get a podiatrist opinion on some of these cheap "shoes". (slippers?) I'm not a Dr but have had so many issues with buying the wrong footwear wearing them for hundreds of miles suddenly having pain and needing physical therapy. Not fun times!
Editor: please dont put some high pitch crap loud af in middle of video then drop back down to whisper volume of him speaking. First of all, ouch, 2nd of all wtf?
oh & guys, not every chick wants a tall dude. short(er) guys are hot, when they just be who they are & let their personality shine through. my eye has always scanned the room for the 5'7"-ish guys. 🔥⚡🌟😻
As a man of 5’ 4”, the term “short king” is patronizing. I didn’t choose to be short. The discrimination starts with regular people, because there are women who like short men. It’s more regular people.
Let’s be honest though, “some people LIKE (thing that most obviously dont)” is cheesy to say. Women will like us in SPITE of our height, not BECAUSE of it
How is it not a helpful to people who want to look taller? I wear boots >90% of the time, not to seam taller but because I like boots Whenever I wear a pair of sneakers I feel significantly shorter. I don't care, but it is a noticeable difference from my perspective. Boots are a stylish and less cringe alternative to lifting shoes. And yes, a higher quality lifting shoe made by a skilled craftsman with good durable materials and a reasonable design will likely cost more than a pair of junk sneakers made of cheap plastic with slave labor and a terrible design.
