This sound track is the Creme de la Creme of History. I've never in my lifetime heard anything that's better. I'm now 59years and still fit, I dance to these songs everyday, which also keeps me fit.

Most charismatic cast ever.

From 11:30 onwards, South American Getaway is the original version with Sally Stevens on lead soprano, not to be confused with another version on Masa249978's channel by London Music Works, who recreate film music. This music is actually tough to sing with accuracy, making every note, particularly for the male voices. What I love especialy about Sally's version here is not just her high-note accuracy but her little blue saxophone-style slides into some of the lower notes. Think ''bwah'. Gorgeous, intelligent singing.Reduces me to tears of joy, honestly!

I love this stuff. It keeps popping up in my head over the years so I pull out the vinyl and play it. If my wife asked me what is this daba daba daba dabada? What are they singing? I love it.

Love the movie - except for the sugary, folksy, dated pop music. South American Getaway is probably the worst cue, but none of the score and song interludes, including Raindrops, have aged well at all. It's all as incongruous as Count Bassie serenading the newly-minted Sheriff Bart in Blazing Saddles, except that was MEANT to be funny and actually somehow fit. The rest of the movie is a wonderful fusion of fine acting, directing and screen writing. A shame about the music.
