South American Getaway (From "Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid" Soundtrack) 

This IS the original vocal performance, but there are THREE versions posted earlier with the album cover graphics that are NOT. I am the solo soprano in the group, John Bahler was the solo male, and the other singers were Jackie Ward, Sue Allen, Ron Hicklin and Bob Tebow. Burt conducted us very precisely. I am rather angered that someone would post a "substitute" version as the original.

Part of the sound track to my life. I feel like virtually everyone who's commented on this thread has the same love for the sounds this man created. It inspires a deep, heartfelt, melancholy. A joyous drive and youthful buoyancy. Like being home for Christmas. Thank you to all the singers who worked on these recordings for sharing your gift with us. As a kid, along with Bacharach/David, Herb Alpert, BJ Thomas, & Dionne I was also in love with The Partridge Family and would curl up with the album covers and study the song credits. I began learning way back then about this sensational community of musicians, singers, song writers, producers and arrangers, It thrills me to no end to be given a tiny glimpse of he back stories from those who played a part.
