Part 2 of an interview with Jean Butler and Michael Flatley in November 1994 as they announce, for the first time, the upcoming launch of 'Riverdance - The Show'. This interview took place on the RTE One (national Irish broadcaster) chat show The Late Late Show, presented by Gay Byrne.
The video includes a unique performance by Butler and Flatley, as well as the first known public performance by Michael Flatley and several of the male Riverdance troupe members of what would go on to be known as 'Distant Thunder' (later 'Thunderstorm') from the Riverdance stage show.
Apologies for the poor quality. This video had to be recorded from a very old VHS tape, and audio and video fell out of sync in the conversion process.
