Butter cookies recipe
Ingredients:
Butter: 125g (1/2 cup + 2 tbsp)
Powdered sugar: 65g (1/2 cup)
Milk powder: 16g (2 tbsp)
Flour: 180g (1 1/2 cups)
Baking powder: 1g (1/4 tsp)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 170°C (340°F).
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the milk powder and mix until well combined.
Sift in the flour and baking powder, then mix until a dough forms. The dough should be soft but not sticky.
Sprinkle a little flour on the table and roll the cookie dough parallel with a roller.
Cut the dough with a cookie cutter into desired shapes.
Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between each cookie.
Bake in the preheated oven for 16-18 minutes or until golden on the edges.
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, store the cookies in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
