No - you need butters to ‘set’ into the butter form and also ‘melt’ into the skin on application. If you use oils, it will just be oils in the gel and won’t stabilise.

I have a silicone powder I would like to add. Would this be added in the final gel phase or water phase or heated butter phase to keep its form? Also, can guar gum be used in place of the gum?
