Mount Hay / Butterbox is one of those must do canyons. With some epic abseils and a challenging but super fun exit with some lightly climbing amongst serious exposure. Not much beats a day out in this canyon!
Thanks :) I just don’t have the talent for voice overs and it can be really hard to understand what’s going on from a GoPro in a dark canyon. Glad it helped :) Tell you what, a few nice places to pack raft down there ;)
Did this one day when my dad decided to wake me up very early and drive to the blue mountains. Heaps of fun and got to abseil down Empress Canyon afterwards, but that tunnel crawl on the edge of the cliff is no joke, my dad almost fell off when his rope bag shifted sides, and the climb isn't hard but the minimal space to stand at such a great height was more than enough for warrant shakes. Great video!!
Couldn’t agree more, the exposure is pretty wild on that ledge, have to definitely careful around it. Thank for watching and hope you’re continuing on with your canyoning adventures
