This song is comforting for me because it sounds like a mother reassuring her stressed out child. My mother isn't emotionally present and she often tends to neglect my worries and struggles. She is one of those types of people who believes that mental illnesses in teenagers is just a phase. My father is the one who raised me single-handedly for most of my life, so now that I have this chance to get close to my mother, it hurts to know that she's not trying hard enough to get closer to me. Yet she blames me for our lost connection and she allows my verbally abusive stepdad to blame me for her stress influenced seizures. I'm only 15 years old.

trauma dump or whatever: anyways i'm 14 and for the past 3 years i've been doing good for a month and then for another one i would have these hard episodes of sadness idk if i can call it depression. so many small things triggered it and i always needed reassurance from someone and someone to save me from my mind. i realized person like that does not exist. they shouldn't exist and i've started to talk less and less about how i feel and about my probelms which is weird since as i said i always needed comfort from other people. i just don't want to bother anyone but i also don't want to seem so negative and annoying with my problems. i'm trying to build a better picture about myself since most ppl i knew from before see me as lowkey mean or too emotional and a crybaby. i hate how boys from my class treat me. they think they can joke around me on so disgusting ways and i take that shit seriously. they take my niceness for fucking granted. sometimes im so akward i even see my mom cringe and then i just want to dig up a hole and stay there for some time. i feel like im being a bad friend to my best friend and idk how to talk to her about it. i also can't help anyone anymore bc idk how to comfort ppl who are going trought similar things like me. i feel so useless. i do put on a smile everyday bc as i said i dont want to appear weak anymore. i hate the picture people have of me. i didn't care about it much until i found out guys i don't even know talk about me like actually gossip. and i hate how everyone thinks i need a bf or that my whole life is about boys because after all im just a teenage girl lol. then when i come home from school my parents are always fighting and there is always this tension whenever we are together and my dad keeps getting drunk again. they r also strict and i wanted to make this summer my best one yet but i rly have no motivation i just want everyone to forget about me so i can stay in my room and do fun things by myself. that way i can't disappoint anyone including myself

I lost someone to an illness in August. When they weren't as bad they told me "once I get out of here I'm gonna come to one of you games." But they never did get out. They quickly got worse. I couldn't go see them it hurt too much. Until I finally went...I didnt see the person I knew. I couldnt look at them. When we started to leave started walking out so fast I almost didnt say goodbye. One step out of the room and I broke. I knew that was the last time I'd see them. I miss them. So much. This song reminds me of them. I wish I could show it to them.
This song means too much to me, because it’s like she’s actually talking to me. It hits harder when she says, “your will to live is weak now . . . But baby hold on for me now” because the stuff I do to myself isn’t helping the case. Otherwise, every other word (almost) it’s like she’s my friend, (won’t say her name but she’s an angel) talking to me. She’s always called me on Discord, and we’d talk it out. Those important calls ended in jokes, and her begging me to sleep. (I tend to not be able to sleep, I don’t know what’s wrong) Some people would hear this, and move on and think nothing of it. But, some of us, want to replay it like it’s saving the world. I don’t know if anyone feels the same, like, relating to almost every word, (not the ‘baby’s, that’s really the only ones I can’t relate to) but if anyone does, then I hope for your well-being. I hope any other person will see this, and think differently of this song. I hope I’m not the only “Angel” wanting others to be aware of this song and wish that self-harm would stop. I have that weird mentality of not exactly wanting to be alive but also not wanting to die. I want to feel the peace and love that others say await us all after death, to finally just let go of all worries and feel positively for once. I'm afraid to take my life, and I'm afraid of the torment it would put my loved ones through, so I don't plan on doing anything any time soon, but I've quickly grown tired of this world. I just want to close my eyes and rest for a time, not worrying about anything, whether it's some minor everyday task or the people in this world who genuinely scare me. I just want to live my life in peace and not feel so scared and down.
I wanna run away. I have nothing left. I have no friends. Everything I've ever loved has left. My mom had a tumour and now she has to go back to the hospital because they think she might have other things in her body. My dad had a stroke and he was never really a good dad. At first he would just yell at us when we were tiny and then he started showing me horror movies and stuff that wasn't meant for a 8 year old. Then he started to abuse me and he drank a lot too. I have my dogs they help. Not enough for me to stay though. I keep telling myself that I should just run and don't ever stop running but then I think off my mom and how she would feel and that she already has enough stress and I can't do that to her. I want to go back in time and go back to the fun days. My moms best friend was my baby sitter and she had a child and they are a they/them now but they are a very toxic person. We were friends when we were kids but we aren't anymore because of what they did. They basically blamed me for having depression but I don't at least I don't think. They always talk about how they are going through untrue stuff and then aspect me to comfort them and I'm done with that BS. I just wish I never existed.
