I own 1 deck of each color. I would love to see another release of these. Maybe a new back design, more aggressive, like a scorpion. Regardless, love my butterflies!
Have you felt the Cardistry Touch deck? Cartamundi is the new USPCC. It hasn't been - I visited the factory last year and I was like NO! But since Cardistry-Con in April, they are the new player.
I feel you. I tried those as well, but they have new card-stock for the magic/cardistry/card-collector market. Their mother factory is in Turnhout, Belgium. They really want to step up their game and they are succeeding in doing so.
I think I am ok with it being cartumundi now because you guys said they stepped up their game. The deck looks good in fans so it looked like a pretty good deck.
It's interesting that it looks gimmicky only to magicians. Take my word for it. The only thing that lay people think about the cards that they don't think about other cards is, that they are very pretty.
I'm not a magician. Can confirm these are nothing short of enchanting; the design is so delicate and beautiful. Nothing gimmicky about it to me. I would love to have a deck.
