SOOO GOOOD !!! Thank you for this hack, I took notes and immediately traced the godet skirt pattern as I will soon sew the dress. It's exactely what I had in mind when I bought the pattern. I will report back on it
I think you should give it a try. Don't worry about "if I will make any mistakes" or "what if I mess something up". That's how I started and I see progress. You just need to start somewhere right. All the best. ♥️
Hii Daria, im always impressed with your sewing skills. How come so many young Russian women know how to sew so well? Where did you get your education in sewing? Our education sucks, I wish I could go to Russia so that someone can teach me properly:(
Hello! First of all, thank you very much! Second, I am not from Russia, I am from Latvia. :) I have a Bachelor degree in Clothing and Textile technology, I sew since my childhood and have various professional experience, that is why I actually have some knowledge to share. :) No connection with any nationality at all.
Hello! Unfortunately, I haven't received any email from you! I didn't want to disappoint you. I was happy to help, but you didn't respond to any my comment, so I haven't been having any opportunity to help you. Please respond to any of my comments I left to you with letting me know your email so I could at least to make a refund.
@@DARIAPatternmaking Thanks for responding. I do not want a refund I learn quite a lot from you , the problem is the downloaded pattern I am having a hard time putting together. Please help.
@@sandramckenzie8394 Thank you for responding! I guess these are printing issues. I believe there are some specific printing settings that don't allow you to print it properly. There should be dashed lines along all the edges of paper, so you can assemble the pattern along them. I assume you have followed the printing instructions written in the instruction file, the printing scale set to 100% Please try making this: 1) Check/uncheck "Source a paper size from PDF file" setting. It can make a difference. 2) Set page size to "default", not A4 or Letter. 2) If there is a dashed line missing on the right or left, please try moving the paper on the side. Maybe the paper isn't installed properly. Please print only the first page to check if everything works. If these steps haven't helped, then I have to reassemble the pattern for your format, but I have to know how the page looks when printed. If after trying all these steps the problem isn't solved, please send me a photo of how the page looks to my email dariapatterns@gmail.com. Hope it helps!
