Brother Muzi, Please explain the Vat and taxes charged at purchasing a new car. Which may explain why they're so expensive. And are the same charged on used cars .??
one thing that set Muzi's channel apart from other car reviewers is versatility, he doesn't always rush to review the new car in the market or rush to be the first one to review. I have also noticed that he doesn't like reviewing very expensive cars and that might not be his niche. He found his niche for his channel and😇 really knows how to make content even without a new car in the Market, and this is why we love him.🧡🙏
They come with codes example there's code 2 code 3 ect so it's all about doing your research thoroughly and know what you putting yourself into some dealers do buy action cars low mileage and you buy them without knowing variety of them
Nah, this concept of an auction gets overwhelming, I guess. That white GTI started at R345k and nobody bid on it. The auctioneer went down to R320k and two people contested until it was sold at R351k, more than the starting R345k that nobody bid for.
I always make sure I don't miss your videos..best you tube chanel But since I asked you for "adapted" vehicles for the disabled people🙈........we are left out bro
Dont be scared of Auctions... Bought my first project last year at Gobid... Its taken me 12 Months and about 70k to get it right but Its been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.. Planning on getting my next project next Month. My biggest tip is make sure you budget for an Engine and Gearbox just incase. You might not need it in the end but if you do, you are sorted and if you are not a patient and dedicated person.. Go to the dealer...
What Muzi said about targeting unpopular cars is true. A number of people get caught up in brand loyalty and miss opportunities to buy good reliable cars at reasonable prices. I was at Burchmores recently and there was a Citroën c3, 2021 model with 53000km on the clock, Goin for 100k, no one contested a gentlemen who bidded on it. But a similar segment poll had people flocking to bid yet I had higher mileage 😆. There are deals at auctions if you look carefully but obviously due diligence is key.
"If you have never been to an auction, I'll bring the auction to you" 😂 lol I've never been to an auction I've learned so much, this is what I call value for my time and wherever there's value there will always be growth, keep up the good work Muzi it's not unnoticed 🤘🏽
Dr S you the only person who feeds/teach us with relevant information about cars and beyond. You know what information we need, more especially us as young black South Africans(girls to be precise) because we have a tendency of day dreaming and doing unthinkable things.
I have attended a lot of their auctions here in Cape Town and I have seen more positives than negatives. Thanks a lot Muzi for another lesson. Many car journalists don't even want to touch on the topic of auction. I do not understand why some car journalists behave like car salespersons..
I was there on this day ,they’ve good cars at bunchmore but buying a car on auction is very sticky 😂,there’s a lot of think to consider. Thanks for sharing this great insights
for the fact that one might be excited to bid up the price that could be their downfall cos this price does not include vat, Thank you Muzi this an eye opener
2:15 i might be mistaken Muzi, but you pay deposit and bid on as many as possible- well atleast to the one i went to. Additionally, whatevers the final amount you deduct deposit and pay balance. No matter how many cars you buy( at the one i went to)
You are amazing bruh...people will always pressure you to go to an auction but this just ain't for me, I'd rather pay the crazy installment, I want to know what i am getting myself into.
9:07 what they do there of pointing and stuff, yhoo. At a certain auction you walk through the cars and the auctioneer and others are there and they'll super hype you, you'll end up over spending
Years ago bought my first car at a auction. A VW citi-rox, you can save money but you must do your research and go to the viewing session the day before
dope content. what you have highlighted about auctions it is so important, at times going to a dealership it is a better option. the golf 7R it is a prof, that number7R it was not worth it honestly.
Hi Doc, If you have time please review Rent to Own cars for those who want to opt that road. i know few people who wanted this option but they dont know what comes with it
Buying a POPULAR CAR like VW brand from auctions usually not worth it because car dealers will contest until you overbeat. If your budget limits are reached, let go of that car.
I mean I don't really like golfs but you have to admit, a Golf R is arguably the most renowned performance hatchback in SA so the owner would drive that thing everywhere. I wouldn't be surprised if he drove it to the bathroom😂...

What i don't like abt birchmore they are so pricy & they will tell you if you go to a normal dealer the price of the car is way more. That's so annoying if you want a car from a dealer you will just go there they must focus on auctioning
😂😂😂 Your closing statement "Now its time to go back to Nelspruit to work on my BMW" ...then the spanner sound took me straight to ⚰️ Auctions are an extreme sport shem, info I am greatful you shared.
Hi @Muzi this is great and very informative. I always follow your vlogs . Out of curiosity how much did that A45s go for? Last question who you be interested in helping out to inspect a car before purchasing at an auction. ( high end vehicles like A35 or A 45 or a vehicle that would cost 500k+ at an auction)
Yes. Also he started at R700k initially so the aim is to get back there You’ll notice at 665k he said his still below reserve and won’t sell. Then 675k was subject to confirmation
