Man, you got lucky- It has been 3 months since I submitted my EUC. I gave GOVplanet a call and was told that the Feds took the last two weeks of 2015 off. So, it may be another month before it gets approved! Wth!?!? I'll be sure to upload some videos of the humvee when I get it. Btw, Great video and nice humvee!
Was a Part 2 made? I am looking for a video buyers guide with body styles, common configurations, price guidelines, and things to look for when shopping, like problem areas, years to avoid, etc.
+Huddle John i was worried that guys would go to the auctions and pay like 25 grand and i only have $6500 and why aren't they street legal they don't have the turret on them?
So what hoops do you have to jump through to make it street legal where you live? Also the EUC, do you have to write an essay on how your going to use the vehicle?
I REALLY REALLY want get a later version HMMWV like M1151 kind, but where and how ? Btw, how could it be road legal? cuz I want to drive her to school everyday
+sharp x a little late but DakotaXPro has a really nice M1026, I asked him about fuel economy and he said it averages out 15 mpg...in the city. It's better than my camry station wagon for crying out loud lol
Nothing against the states, but it's funny how you can say that your country is the best in the world, then turn around and complain about your government... So do you have plans to ever take the humvee offroading, or is it a little to expensive to risk it?
+Bentley Beckley FYI, Our Country is NOT defined by our government. In fact, one of the best things about America is that we can (and some would say SHOULD) be critical of our government. At least for now.
I'd say everybody should be critical of anyone in power... America literally has nothing going for it in terms of quality of life. By that I mean they don't rank on the top of the charts in regards to poverty, healthcare, education, etc. I'm not saying its a bad country, but the somewhat blind nationalism seems to be a way for the government to stay in control without improving the important stuff.
+Bentley Beckley I believe that you have a right to your opinion, but in my opinion, you're categorically wrong on almost every point you make. We have faults as a country for sure, but there is nowhere else I'd rather live. The opportunity always exists to change for the better, but it's up to the citizenry to do so, not the government. No "blind nationalism" here. One thing most non-Americans can't understand is the concept that patriotism means love of country, not love of government.
