Enjoyed this review, great work guys. I bought a 2011 TDV8 4.4 Vogue in August 2021 - loving it so far and don’t see myself ever moving from full size range rovers, the experience is just special, worth the expensive running costs.
great video and lovely car. Just bought an L405 myself and love it! Nice to watch a video and hear a fellow northern irish man. That being said it must be killer for a Northern Irish man to pay ticket price (but as said hard to do a deal when holding deposit has been given)
The MOT history only going back as far as 2020 would have instantly put me off along with list of of fails/advisories as long as my arm, especially so many of them being corrosion related. Lovely colour though and I get the appeal having owned Range Rovers myself but you definitely need deep pockets and a good specialist to make a success of it.
Made sure we had a good look around. It’s just minor surface stuff and easily corrected. The car spent time in Northern Ireland where the MoT centres are run by the government so nothing slips through. I’m happy with the independent specialist inspection but we weren’t going to foot the bill for the aux belts. Ed
I agree. I’ve walked away from cars (hypothetical walk 😂) if they try this on the phone. I shortlist 3-4, hit the phone and go with gut instinct before I even view - never let me down
Good video! Prices must have gone up a good bit! I bought a 2012 4.4 tdv8 in early 2020 for 8k, but having own loads of L322s the 4.4 is something else and after driving a new model for a few hours I don’t think there is much in it! I’d drive either quite happily.
Yes you bought at the right time. We would have waited until prices settle a bit but we need a proper tow car for racing. Prices have gone up about £3k in the last year but just loved this colour combo. Ed

Bloody good deal actually, it is most probable that he could sell it for more than he paid. As for the parcel shelf - they’re usually more of a hindrance than a help.
I’ve a feeling though that the over inflated market here is on the turn. However this was bought as a luxury tow car. Everyone loves it and it’s now affectionately known as ‘the bus’. 😁🙏👍 Ed
Second hand covers are up to £300 on ebay...NOT CHEAP. When I asked about the missing one on mine, dealer said they were quite often missing. I pointed out they were part of the vehicles trim and that you wouldnt buy one with a missing door card.Was walking away when he said he'd find one.
Iv just bought a 2011 4.4, mine comes with the detachable tow bar from JLR but I'm looking to install a fixed tow bar as I trust them more especially when towing big weight. Can I ask what miles was on yours when you purchased it. Did it come with a go warranty?

Perhaps. Been there, done that. An ML never gave me the same feeling as the RR though. All cars have issues, I don’t tend to shy away. Everything is fixable. Ed
