Today i take you through a method i have used to score some pretty sweet Guitars out of Japan and have them shipped to my door in the United States.
Follow along as i do more than just show myself hitting the buy button.
But we talk about Rinkya.com What it does, how to navigate, and what to expect if you decide you would like to do the same.

Good vid. I went on the site but I haven't found any deals yet. Most Buyout prices, on the MIJ guitars I've searched, seem to b around the same as prices on eBay.

yeah they are getting close with in the last 6 months seems to be getting hiked up...keep an eye tho.

Hey there Rob - Great tutorial here. I was looking at an auction myself to pull the trigger on. Curious what questions to ask as the description is pretty vague and the wacky translation is hard to decipher even more so than your's was. I can send the link if u like. - cheers, mike

Yeah man Drop me the link in my email if youd like! Otherwise if you saw me go through quickly what the description is in my own video, that may help a bit. The Japanese typically take super good care of their possessions. if its vague you probably have a good winner. Inspect the pics for sure.

Sure - thanks Rob! Let me know where i could email you. Your FB seems to be out. So yeah - there's only half dozen or so pics that are pretty good. Not anything as thorough as Reverb or something like that. The visual condition looks really good to me but that wacky translation is really throwing me for a loop. And no details about the functionality, playability etc. Thanks so much - i really appreciate it.

Nope - youre facebook page isn't working and i don't do twitter sooo... www.rinkya.com/en/auction-u271181435?dollar=part#bid - The auction just ended and went way over my budget. There was like 60 something bids. All good - there'll ALWAYS be more guitars ...lol

Hey Rob love the videos you helped me a ton. I just used a proxy and purchased a 1978 Greco LP Eg 700 from Japan. Do you have any idea what pickguard would fit on a Eg700 thanks again

I would suspect its typical in size..however i have not specific experience comparing.

This Greco is one of the best looking guitars I have seen the quality is unreal for what I paid.

How much did you pay for the shipping from the Rinkya warehouse to the US?

It should be in the vid but short of $220 if i recall? for 2 they said id get it cheaper for the 2 but seems like i maybe saved 20-50 bucks.

Hi, its very good! i have a question, iwhat ship method to chose? and other, when it said Bit or buyout, in orange or green, if the price on the Bid its 300 usd but in the green buyout said 600 usd, how is it? i can buy for 300 usd?

Just like ebay, buy out would be your purchase price if you "Buy it now." once a bid is cast either by you or someone else that Buyout price should go away and its onto a bidding war.

@@TheYetti1 it seems that i have problems with my credit card, they take some dollars in the registration of the card...say that its high risk my account so i have to send a bank transfer deposit...i dont understand
