This video was a great service to your audience. Perhaps to someone who hasn't bought or handled an AR before now knows a little bit about what they can get into. Thanks for taking the time to put this together. I learned a few things.
Since BIG BROTHER is always watching, everyone of us watching this video have now been put on A LIST of some kind of something. Everyone will always be a suspect in anything that happens. A very good video. Once you go AR you are hooked. There may be many more builds to come. Stan you look like a kid in a candy store. Congratulations on your new acquisition.
I am not an AR fan, just a preference. I had one, but after a short time I found it uncomfortable to shoot. Maybe because I have shot nothing but hunting rifles all my life. As for my preference, a Ruger Mini 14 feels much more familiar. I have the same complaint with Glocks because I'm use to the 1911 grip angle. If you want to hunt deer with an AR, I'd suggest the 300 Blackout or go to an AR10.
Love Bul Armory! You won't find them in most local gun stores as they distribute mostly from their USA website. Fantastic value for what you get. SAS II 5" and Tomahawk are probably my favorites. Their 1911 Government is a tremendous value.
Psa has uppers for 159 and lowers for 99. Complete ar for 260, shipping and ffl for the lower is extra of course. Upper ships to your house. Entry level but it gets the job done. Plus the grey isn't as scary as the scary black gun that the left hates
@@Dirtmonkey I second the PSA complete upper route. Got a lower from bills gun shop.. just ran 400 rds through it out in North Dakota prairie dog shooting. Very accurate.
@dustinmarquand5301 if you remember way back, the plum crazy lower came out and I think it was classic that had them for 39 bux. I bought so many complete lowers, I even built some 22lr with a couple. I think the gen 2 plums are 79 to 99. Still can't beat a complete lower for that even post covid. Great for kids to learn too. Now if only ammo would drop. No more Walmart 100 packs for 34 bux
I just built my first and second AR's this year in January. If I could show you some pics, I would..... they are pretty sweet toys (a 16 inch 556 nato and a 10.5 inch 300 blackout pistol)........ I hand pick every part and saved them until I collected every part and built them.... Easy! Welcome to the addiction Stan....LOL! If you get 1, you will want another....
300blk. Man. I never fell in love with a caliber so much in my life. I have "shelved" all my 556 guns and now run strictly 300blk in all my gunds around the property. For there purpose I run all subs. I do have around 2K hypersonic rounds but rarely shoot them. I am really hoping the new 8.6blk gets popular and more affordable. I will get that to replace my 308s.
I was always an AK guy for decades. About 6 years ago I made a HUGE mistake. I wanted to see what all this "AR" fuss was about, so I bought all the parts to "build my own" AR thinking, hey this is my first AR I know nothing about them so lets build one so I know more. Dang what a mistake that was. It sent me down a rabbit hole like no other. You have one, just ONE extra frikin part because, maybe you upgraded the hand guard, your brain goes: Hey I have all these extra parts, lets just build another AR with them. Over and over and over. So you got lucky by buying one already made. Saved yourself a lot of money. Over 6 years I built so many friends are sick of getting them for presents because i have too many. Best mistake I ever made. Only recommendation I could make for any prepper. Stockpile at least 10 of them build as close to teh exact same as possible and as much ammo and you can humanly afford. My goal is 1 million rounds. Which sounds like a lot, it isnt.
1st thing bro ditch the tube dot. Grab a holosun 510c. Auto on and off auto dims or also has settings to leave it one brightness if you want. Can be dot or a circle or both. Like 250 or 300$ on Amazon max. Great optic. Bulletproof.
Good content, love the firearms. Try to shoulder the stock a little more so the recoil doesn’t hit you though. Have gotten my right shoulder seriously bruised after shouldering some firearms to high.
Also, THE BEST Investment ANY gun own can make, in his life... training. Even if its just 1 class. Training. That's something else I had gotten addicted to. It's so much fun learning new stuff and it took my self-confidence to new levels. And I am a former cop. The training cops get is pathetic. find a good TACTICAL trainer. I am sure we all can help recommend you with reputable ones if you ever need.
Every free person in the USA should own one and thousands of rounds. Security equipment for maintaining freedom. An enumerated right. Just remember folks if they say the government can limit your rights then make sure you have at least few AR"s to prove them wrong. Firearm bans will soon be a thing of the past.
Nice all mine has on it Red Dot, iron site will be added today maybe. Not my AR-10 is a different story it has better or the best they say money can purchase but doubtful. Nice pew pew Edit : dead nuts at 1,000 yards but don’t know anything over that. I set it at 100 yards but scope has setting up to 1,000 yards.
You're about to get 1,000 comments about your trigger finger inside the trigger guard while not on target. This is an extremely dangerous habit that your instructor should've been all over. Every new shooter does it (regardless of how long you've been carrying a 357, it's very clear that when it comes to semi auto high capacity firearms that you are novice level) It's very simple to remedy. Take some grip tape and put it on the frame of your rifle or pistol so that after each shot you get used to putting your trigger finger on the tactile grippy tape and it becomes second nature. This is especially important after your last shot where you're about to swing the barrel up and over the berm
I said it once, ill say it again! #1 honey badger 300 blackout with the trash panda suppressor #2 GQ Armory Paladin 300 blackout Buddy, if you the BEST home defense and sexy as hell, either of these 2 are at the tippy top of the food chain! Humor me, and at least look them up, buddy! You wont regret it! 🇺🇸
Also, these are not in a specific order. They are both BAD AF!!! Basically, they are similar. But I personally like the looks of my Palidin more. It turns heads every time I take it out!
Stan nice for you to show what your shooting is just a rifle just like any other rifle. It's the people whos shooting them have to be responsible. Bad people are bad people and we as american citizens shouldn't be punished for a few bad apples.Guns by themselves don't kill people the bad people using them do.
Sigh. Why Stan? You bring such positive energy to the country, popularizing weapons capable of killing dozens is negative energy. Typically you are a much better example for your audience. Enjoy the hobby, but don't promote it. We don't need that.
It's not a "hobby"; it's a big part of a responsible, protective mindset and a proactive, "sheepdog" lifestyle that keeps both criminals and tyrants at bay every day. You may be very well be ALIVE today because somebody in your past who wanted to do you serious harm perhaps thought there was a chance that you or one of your companions were armed. Please lose your Liberal brainwashing, really study the FACTS (not available undistorted from the MSM) about guns and crime, and responsibly arm yourself with something more effective than your ethereal 'positive energy' ,for your sake and the sake of your loved ones. You may need it someday more than you can possibly ever imagine.
Stan, a time is coming that you'll have to defend yourself. Money, gold and silver won't get you what you need. Currency will be guns and ammo. Protect yourself, loved ones and family. Stock up. Get your c&r license. They'll ship directly to your house. Drive the left insane, open carry a well. There's a restaurant locally here that has signs on the doors open carry welcome here. Gotta love bbq. Help turn your state red
