So many of you watched my tips on shopping for luxury items in Japan, and even if you can't get to Japan to shop designer items yourself, you can still shop all the amazing quality second hand luxury bags at reasonable prices online using BUYEE, and as we find out in todays video, you can get a real bargain!

Even with the differences they point out, especially on the outside they are so minute to anyone but these trained people to see, even people who own a lot of luxury probably cant see the difference, so why spend 8k when you can spend 500. Also if you spent 8k but your other clothes were old and tatty and wore no make up people would think its fake, if the rest of your appearance was very put together and wearing higher end highstreet, even luxury bag owneers would assume this *esluxy* is real. Only trained people would know the difference.

When it comes down to second hand luxury items, Japan is defo the best place to look at. Online is a good solution, but I recall hearing about local shop that do have also luxury items. The care they do have for theirs clothes/accessories is unmatch.

Alex, leather stretches out over time to custom fit. Most Rock N Roll leather pants are bought too small and "broke in" until they fit like a second skin.

Such a fun video, I'm not much for designer name brand goods, but I love a good thrifty bargain, and quality made things are always fab. I love to find gently used real leather purses and coats from thrift shops. I also love to knit and crochet and as wool is one of my favorite materials , 100% wool sweaters are always a great find for me, im sure someone would love to have that one if its too prickly for you, altho you look gorgeous in it. Been having a lovely time seeing you here and on the side quest channel, always looking forward to hanging with you and the wonderful birb friends ❤

Alex this is how I remember you: sharing joy, great info and hauls! You gave me hope for a way to travel Japan with a gluten allergy, which is my bucket list #1. I was so confused when you said it wasn't sponsored because i was only half watching and it sounded so much like you were reading off a script like you would for ad. I totally understand why you would somewhat script what information you want to say in a vid and its very hard to make that sound entirely natural, but compared to the casual chaos of the side quest channel that threw me for a loop lol

my autistic sensory fail fabric is velvet. I once got forced to wear a dress all day as a kid and it nearly broke me it felt like something was trying to remove my skin. When i worked in a retail setting i used to have to ask my colleague to hang the velvet scarves because it would make me barf xD

Really enjoyed this video!! I would love to see the clothing. Hopefully we get to see that soon. :) The larger sunglasses looked amazing on you! The smaller ones too! The larger ones remind me of my mom's glasses in the 90's. That style is coming back and I think it works well for sunglasses. Also I totally agree with you about wear and tear on items. I collect a lot of vintage stuff. If I find something in perfect condition and I end up buggering it up in some way I'm so mad at myself. But if it comes used I feel I can enjoy it more easily....if that makes sense. 😄 Thanks for the video Alex, loved it!!
