Ditch the rod holders. Tip put your fishing rods on the inside above the grab handles hold in place with a bungee cord. Rod and reels stay out of the dust and mud.

Personally people that have learnt to wheel solid axles first because they have a vehicle that is pretty much point and shoot little fear of damage...sure it looks cool just going for it with little to no thought, guarantee put them in a IFS after they will straight up break stuff...i do prefer the skills the planning for lines to get an IFS to the same places as a solid axle without damage....makes those camp beers even more worth it settling the nerves for the day....i enjoyed the back story here and now looking forward to follow along....

Agreed. Started with a Triton, found my groove in a Bravo/B2500 (the car I regret letting go of) then moved to a Patrol. Ditched that as I was given a new Hilux for work but now am back in another, much newer, Patrol (still a Y61). Thankfully, never broke the IFS vehicles, but that mechanical sympathy and track selection sets you up for more success in the bigger solid axle rigs.

Love this, my gran was called Gertrude and that’s exactly what she was like 🥰 She was affectionately known as Trudy. That’d make a great name for the 105 💜
