Simmons: You're all wearing state of the art, bio-mechanical body armor. It's supposed to deflect bullets and absorb explosions. What could a 1 ounce insect possibly do? (Wasp destroys Shatter Squad) Simmons: ...Oh. Grif: Is it me, or do these guys suck more than we do?
Like actually, I like now theyve been slowly bringing him back. Once by giving him a mention, then by giving him a cameo, then by giving him his first line
@@bryanemilius1606 Part of one of my high school semesters was spent dealing with the occasional wasp that made its way into my latin class. It got so bad I think we had to change rooms briefly so that the school could call in professionals to deal with the nest.
Also honeybees but honeybees usually die after one sting because the stinger gets stuck in your flesh so the bee has to rip its own abdomen to break free while other hornet stingers and wasp stingers are smother and come out easier.
Welp, one more fun episode, nice seeing the animation incorporated well into the comedy. 2:16. Axel keeps being the best character in Family Shatters and I love it!
@@SheyTheGay There's actually a bunch of machinimation going on in this season, it just doesn't look the same because they're doing things in Unreal instead since it allows them to much more easily blend between the machinimation and the traditional 3D animation. Also agreed about liking the animators getting paid
Well this introduces something new about Phase and East. It’s non-canonical so dunno if it transfers over but East can apparently teleport Phase to herself and I assume vice verca.
I’m still wondering what their deal is now personality wise, if east is just a puppet when she comes out or if they’re two distinct personalities that merge back together
@@vexxama Phase in episode 5 says “it feels good to be whole again” and that’s when she starts to question Zero so I think it takes a piece of her personality by her choice e.g. being a “good” person to disguise East with Shatter Squad.
@@SephticMI interesting. So technically there’s be three versions of her as she uses her abilities. Hope they explore that in future material, with phase, east and Danielle differing slightly
I disagree, but, both have its perks. (As for why I disagree, think of it like this: First you have Teen Titans, a masterpiece of the blend of “action” (Yin) and “feel goods” (Yang). Then somebody comes along and tries to recreate that but for some odd reason believes that more “action” was better so they tipped the scale in the Yin favor. Thus getting something like JLDA or Flashpoint, ie. A needlessly dark slaughterhouse of everyone for pessimistic “just cause” reasons 🤦🏾♂️. After getting bad reviews on that, someone else (or the same person) tries again but decides to tips the scale the Yang favor instead. And too much of the “feel goods” resulted in the abomination known as TTG 🌋🔥! Throughout all of this the people/person behind trying to recreate or create an honorable successor of the master piece somehow forgot or didn’t notice that the masterpiece was a masterpiece *because* it had a *BALANCE* of the two in it’s own way. *RvB* was the masterpiece. *RvBZERO’s* issue was more of a lack of essence/substance than anything else but mostly falls into the too much Yin category. And *This* (even though it’s non canon and purely for lols) is the too much Yang.)
For the moment, this is my favourite episode of Family Shatters. Really funny and as a non english native, the action in this scene there was 0 problems to understand some stuffs that I don't understand at all without subtitles.
this series is much better than RvB: ZERO. Frankly, this should've been part of RvB: Zero and just placed between the actual episodes to both give character development and space it out some. also, it would've been the perfect blend of the comedic and dramatic storytelling.
For anyone who has a problem with This, RvBZERO and compares it to RvB; let me just say why I feel like it’s not god awful but missing something. [And Rooster Teeth (no disrespect but) maybe you can take some notes on this too😊] Think of it like this: -First you have Teen Titans, a masterpiece of the blend of “action” (Yin) and “feel goods” (Yang). -Then somebody comes along and tries to recreate that but for some odd reason believes that more “action” was better so they tipped the scale in the Yin favor. @@samuelsoliday4381 Oh yeah it makes me giggle. But it’s sad that it has to be directionless, instead of a distraction/filler until the next season or big thing drops. Like Season 14 of RvB.
@@KJetixsSuccessor Honestly, they shouldn't have even made a season 15. season 13 ended in such a way that adding another season featuring the reds and blues spoils it.
Idk might be something new with how Phase and East work. East isn't the original so she wouldn't be splitting into Phase and East. Maybe that she's able to teleport Phase to her and vice versa? It's non-canonical so it's a bit weird.
This is hilarious for the fact that they’re in combat grade armor that can survive energy blast and hits that would level of truck but they’re afraid of a wasp which is relatable
Okay, wait. So... this final episode of Family Shatters, this video here that may well be the last thing we ever see starring Shatter Squad, ends with their base blowing up with everyone inside it? I'll admit, I don't hate this premise and these guys as much as I used to after a second viewing... but even so, that's pretty damn funny.
Wow, if they just fix everything bad about zero it would be a good show. Somehow the animation in this is worse than Zero. It was a challenge to watch this and yet it had more character development than the entire season of Zero.
@@Izumiuo It's still got machinima in this season, they've basically rigged up in Unreal a way to machinimate and use that to blend machinimation with traditional animation
@@AdvancedEon nah, machinimas are in game elements. They aint playing Halo 5, they just using the models in the game. Machinimas are recorded in game not fully CGI.
@@Izumiuo I know this isn't recorded using Halo 5, like I said, they've rigged up a way in Unreal engine so they can machinimate without using a Halo game. From what it seems like, it's a pretty good system. Plus, all games are CGI
They should've gone with doing stuff like this from the start instead of slapping the RvB label into something 100% unrelated then half assing the storyline....in my opinion anyways.
