Good morning from Uk Tom, how are you? Well done on your set up of the mic and giving it a go! Received mine this morning from TopByd after 10 days of order and thanks for your discount code. Unfortunately there was no usb lead sent with mine and on the bottom of the mic is metal circle. I presume they’ve sent me the Chinese version and this would slot into their cars to charge. When this battery runs down on this mic, then it’s useless…. (Unless here in the uk there’s some type of gadget you can buy as an accessory). I’ve contacted TOP BYD and awaiting a reply… hoping they’ll send me the correct one….here’s to another 10 days wait 😳. Well ..no singing for me today ! Keep sending the good videos and thanks !
That was good, Tom! There's quite a range in that song and you were there. This performance should be your opening background song in tonight's livestream. :)
@@LudicrousFeed Just showed this to my family. Wife and sons are musical people. They were impressed. One of my sons said you should make it your out-tro. Great minds. :)
Haha thanks but yeah as my thumbnail suggests I think you're safe to sing in there like no-one can hear you … although admittedly sometimes you can hear other people’s phone conversation coming through the speakers in traffic 😁
You're a brave man, Tom! Robbie Williams is actually pretty hard to sing along to as his songs tend to be in a higher register. The plus side is that you've now got some gold to embarrass your kids with in front of their friends when they're teens. 😉
Hi Tom, I am going to purchase my first EV soon and I am thinking between BYD seal premium and polestar 2 long range single motor. I test drove both today and I think I kinda leaning to BYD. I live in Sydney as well, normally just drive around sydney area and probably couple times to Canberra per year. What is your recommendation?
It’s a difficult question to answer because both are cars from different price points. No doubt BYD Seal is extremely good value whereas the Polestar range is closer toward the luxury end of the market. Best to watch some of my videos to help make your decision. Start with these two: Long Range BYD Seal Highway Range and Efficiency Driving in the Rain ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4N_0qB13Kkc.html 2024 Polestar 2 Long Range Single Motor | Sydney to Melbourne EV Drive ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dsT1oP4pS78.html
@@LudicrousFeed I have watched most of your recent videos about BYD SEAL, they are no doubt very helpful! One quick question, do you find the Seal turning radius is too big that you have issue doing sharp turn?
That was awesome, thanks! Sold! Loving all your seal videos. I am look at premium v dynamic. Leaning dynamic, probably prefer less performance cause I will be teaching my kids to drive in it, plus I like having my licence. I am budget conscious as I will be financing. Is dynamic good enough, or is it worth spending the extra money on the premium?
Premium variant: for bigger battery hence more range, slightly faster DC charging speed, genuine leather seats and steering and HUD to name a few features. If you can live without those extras then the Dynamic will be suitable for the price
Hey Tom. Serious question. I often work/chill/snooze in my ice car between onsite visits. I leave the engine on when i need the ac or when charging my laptop and devices. How does this work with an EV? Does it drain the 12v battery? Is there an ACC mode and a On mode? Hmm. Or can i do the same but with 82.5kw worth of juice?
I’ve often sat in an EV for at least an hour whether it be Tesla, BYD or otherwise waiting for kids etc and it’s been all good. I suspect the HV battery feeds the LV battery when “idle”
Good effort mate!! Don't listen to those negative Nelly record producers and their words of 'needed improvement' - you can do this man!!! Big Day Out? Glastonbury? Right? Right!!?
Ok. Serious comment here. I've been so interested in this since buying my BYD. I was so disappointed the AU version doesn't seem to have the in-armrest storage area charging port for the mic that the CH version seems to. Especially when my Top BYD armrest storage insert has the microphone cut-out for the microphone head. Anyway, this is a gimmick, but I want one. If I order one, will it definitely come with usb charging on the base and have no way in AU to use the in armrest storage placement they presumably enjoy in China?
Just got mine today from top BYD and they’ve sent me the Chinese version to fit in the armrest but naturally there’s no connection in there. Waiting for a reply to see if they can send me the uk usb version soon…watch this space! 😡
Thank you for the video. I thought long about buying this microphone. Searched for it in my holiday in China. Now I bought it with your discount code. Hope that we become the software version with this capability’s in Germany soon. Still on 2310 here with my seal RWD produced in September.
That was good Tom...not sure I'd be brave enough to go solo and not have had a few beers first to do that. Told a friend about it for his grandkids...but definitely no chance of it ever arriving in his Atto 3. Well this can be the top story tonight on the Livestream. :) "Ken Brockman Action 6 News...tonight in a BYD Seal..."
@@LudicrousFeed Well could remain parked in the garage as where I think you were and enjoy a beverage or 3 with some karaoke...be like a karaoke bar in your garage in accessory mode so no chance of driving anywhere. ;)
