Here are some specs about the Seagull: 190 to 250 miles per charge (2.9 - 3.85 hours at 65 MPH). Excellent build quality (similar to Toyota or Honda), easy to understand/recognize styling features/buttons, the Lithium-Iron-phosphate battery tech, the charge time (80% in 45 minutes), the cost ($12K), and the ride comfort (72 dB driving at 75 mph) is the same as standing next to running home washing machine in terms of noise.
Can't wait to try this when it arrives in the UK. Good size, especially for those of us who really don't need a huge EV, while the price should be acceptable to the average buyer.
It's certainly a very nice car! you are going to sell a lot of them....unfortunately not to me because I am in France ^^ I would really like BYD to export the Seagull to France! Thank's for the vidéo !
If they double the hp and make it awd by adding a second motor to the rear, as long as the 0-60 is under 8 seconds and the cost is under $30kUSD, this will revolutionize the market. Even Elon is gonna be sweating.
Almost every small cheap car gets over that, especially the fueled ones that everyone drives around today as that one also gives you high RPM engine on top...
The car is perfect but the acceleration from 0 to 100 in 14 sec disappointing, they should made it fast as all electric car's, at least from 0 to 100 in 10 sec, 14 sec equal to 1.2 litter petrol engine.
If you want faster 0-100 speed cars you can get a byd seal that do 0-100 in 3.8 seconds or byd U9 that do 0-100 in 2.0 seconds 😂 This is a city car that cost 10000 USD and this sells more than 40000 units per month in china alone
