Excellent review. Great comparison with the seagull. Safety rating would make the purchase decision for me.

Driving it for 2 months now. It is a good starter EV if you come from ICE vehicles and want a cheap EV that has more space and seats than a Wuling Mini but is cheaper than a BYD Dolphin. My only issue right now is that Wuling does not seem to follow the standards of charging stations in countries outside of China as they still ship their EVs with GB/T charging port but my country (Philippines) has mostly Type 2 and CCS2. I see it also in owners from Indonesia having the same issue.

The BYD T3 commercial van maybe of interest to many people, not that many options in that segment.

Its coming to Philippines, will it have english language for infotainment and voice commands?

Air/liquid cooled batteries, and the safety features? like EBD, ESP and TC, air bags, etc.

The race is on! Whoever brings a small but practical, LOW PRICE EV to the UK is going to clean up big time. Behemoth, £40+ EVs like Teslas only ever make financial sense for business buyers who can leverage the sizeable BIK tax advantages. Private buyers, who can't benefit from BIK, are increasingly shunning EVs & sticking with their old ICE cars instead. I like the Seagull & I like the Bingo but to me, they're the same car & I will simply buy the one that makes it to UK shores first.

Have Wuling fixed the lack of DC charging on the new, longer range Bingo?? If they're going to succeed in overseas markets, this is a must have feature. Here in the UK, million of people live in flats & houses which aren't suitable for installing a domestic charger. That means we'll be more reliant on the public (& desperately crappy!) charging network.

Put the large motor from the Baojun Cloud (134 hp) ,Dji’s ADAS and Google interface. The Bingo will beat the new eC3 Citroen and Renault 5.
