@Alexander Hendry All of our politicians are authoritarians. The "left" in this country would just as happily take away our speech and our privacy, they just haven't been in power to do so. When the choice is between corrupt authoritarians, and anti-white-man corrupt authoritarians, the choice is simple for me, as a white man.
It's not about television ownership. If you watch - you pay. If you work - you get paid. Do you think all this entertainment is done for free? Funnily enough I just received my yearly licence bill.
Anyone remember the arm wrestle between Boris Johnson and Jeremy Clarkson on TV? Jeezo, a bit of public school thuggery there. Not the kind of guy to help represent the masses.
Boris was a bit of fun but what did he do for people compared to the other mayors? He was a bit useless. Livingstone introduced the Oyster card and congestion charging and tackled Margaret Thatcher over rising unemployment. Sadiq Khan has introduced 2 for one bus journeys and capped some TfL fares with plans to do more. People should vote for policies and actions rather than personalities.
Boris did a good job, let's see how you all feel when Khan has finished with London......or maybe you can all go to your new local mosque and praise Allah.
How did Boris do a good job? What exactly did he do or achieve for ordinary Londoners? Livingstone introduced Oyster cards and the congestion charge. Sadiq Khan has introduced two for the price of one bus journeys and frozen some TfL fares with plans to do more on fares and build more assordable housing . Boris was just a comedian.
Ana Seijas I’m sure that it’s sweetened and exaggerated American shows are bad but British shows take it over the top The show is funny enough it does not need to tell me when I should laugh
