We finally broke up the forklift batteries and we will be using them for a new project. We tried them for three months and had horrible results from them. We lacked the resource to bring them back
Dr Solar is getting serious, next i expect to see a white doctors coat hahaha Good on you for not totally abandoning the fork batteries, i understand after the issues you've had i'm sure you'd want to push them off a cliff though lol... Glad to see you back and looking forward to your content through 2020. Cheers - Josh
Good morning from Lagos Josh. Happy new year. How have you been? I have saved 7 of them for a small project. I am hoping to have better success from them. Thank you for watching.
@@drsolar Thankyou and a happy new year to you too Sir. I've been reasonably well as of late which has been good thankyou, how about yourself ? well if that 7 are in reasonable condition id expect they will at least be usable for something, i'm looking forward to seeing what you can accomplish with them.
@@nvmyutube we have it connected to a small inverter and a 300 watt panel. We will double it to 600 watts. I will post a video soon. Being reasonably well is what we all pray for. I am good. Some changes in my family life for 2020 but overall things are wonderful
Care and maintenance of lead acid is not as hard as anyone lets on. This battery bank is exposed to the elements, not conditioned properly and was doomed from the onset. The new craze has its' own pitfalls - primarily the cost right out of the gate.
Wow sorry about that... If I were you I will go for eastman Tubular batteries. I have been a fan of you here and have also learn a lot from you. I have used Tubular batteries for one year and six months now and they are still strong and I also run them my inverter air condition
lol Lead acid batteries are pain in the butts, You don't compare apples to oranges, you basically asking him to go from a Nissan leaf to a tubular battery, Lol
@@irenethompson9058 really well I don't know much but mine is given me what I wanted for over a year and six month now. But all the same I wish them the best
@@irenethompson9058 thank you for your response which is right on the money. I am not sure he understood that I am using lithium ion batteries. I hope all is well with you in the new year
Thank you. We had lead acid batteries that lasted over 4 years. The headache involved in using them was not worth it for me or my clients. Thank you for watching and commenting. Please like and share and if you have not subscribed please click the subscribe button
