Credible imitation. The best I've heard actually. I don't think it's really that easy to sing this the way Ben Orr sang it. His vocal ability was better than many, so flexible and expressive, and I don't think many people realize that.
Awesome! One of my favorite bands of all time. We had this cassette on our first camping trip. It's so etched into my brain. Every time I hear the Cars I'm 17 again!
This was awesome guys !! Amazing cover. One of my favourite songs. Great guitar at the end, and great keyboards throughout. Really made the song for me.
Ben Orr would be very pleased indeed, watching the last interview, breaks my heart when he says bye... such a terrible loss.. RIP.. see you in that orangey sky!
Killer man, just great. I hear all the exquisite tones from strings and keyboard's while the percussion comes true .can't imagine a better vocal as well .u boys are having fun...I can tell. I used 2 know that joy.
What I like about you guys is, not only are your renditions spot on, but the fact that you're all being yourselves, and not a bunch of old farts wearing cheap corny wigs. Did you all take off your wedding rings on purpose, or are you all unmarried....LOL!!! Especially the singer in the brown T-shirt. Wink wink.... ;) ;)
This song demonstrates the upper range of Ben Orr. Nice rendition. Ben had a fairly high tenor voice. Not quite the range of Peter Cetera, but well capable of covering the Cars material he sang lead on. "It's all I can do: easily my favorite. Production a little less Rick Ocasik. Sounds a little bit more along the lines of Foreigner's production of "Waiting For a Girl Like You"...
