Fantastic pick for the Seahawks. Biggest need for Seahawks was addressing the inside run defense and they did just that. Thanks to Atlanta for making that horrific pick at 8 for Penix Jr sending all the best defensive players down the draft board. This is just what the hawks needed.
As a Seahawks and Huskies fan, I don’t think Penix is a bad pick honestly, if he gets in the right situation he could have a good NFL career I think … BUT I do love the pick by Seattle, because we do need to get better upfront and this helps address that… Our run D has been abysmal the last several years, some of that was scheme, and some was lack of talent …
@@funkyflights it was a bad pick for Atlanta because they just signed cousins to a 4 year, 180 mil contract and penix is already 24 years old. Especially with the #9 pick, horrible pick for Atlanta.
Scariest D line in the NFL I wouldn’t sleep on Tyree either. When Koonce was drafted he wasn’t looking too good he developed well. I see Tyreek having a higher ceiling because he’s built different
man the guy is the absolute beast. The Seahawks should take this player if he is available at 16. He will be joining Williams, Reed and Jones to boost up the front line.
Murphy is a good consolation prize if you can't get Newton, Newton is the prize jewel, with his first step, motor and polished hand usage but Murphy is a good player as well
Love how he jumps gaps to get in front of the ball carrier. Seems like blockers have a tough time getting a straight up block on him, he's always kind of at an angle
First time watching his highlights and not gonna lie I really like what I see, he’s graded end of the 1st /2nd. Newton from Illinois originally was ranked for top half of the first but haven’t made any noise and may drop. Starting to think Murphy can be the 1st interior DL taken in this draft
Anyone here who says hes over rated and benefted frm the rest of the line...your trpping & dnt know footbal & or dont know how to watch film....hes winning the large majority of his 1 on 1s, he normally the first defender there especially in the run
🙏🙏Blessings forever GOD loves y'all too forever tell everyone you know and don't know. Jesus loves y'all too forever. Teach everyone how to see and enjoy their blessings too forever😊
He'ell make a difference on ANY team that has an above average D or... he'll get double teamed. Playing against other college players show one side of his superiority. Bears too Kevin White AFTER Rams took Donald!
unpopular opinion: he’s slightly overrated. from what i’m seeing that Texas D-line as a unit was really good and he was reaping the benefits of having good players around him. every now and then he did make some great plays and cause immense pressure individually but I noticed other guys getting to the ball first or multiple other teammates make the play more often than him alone. I don’t hate dude, just not as impressed compared to Newton.
I don't like a first or second round grade for my Steelers. We need to groom a guy to eventually replace the aging Cam Heyward, and I know they interviewed Byron Murphy, and I'm fine with a third round pick for him. I wanted to see him show some highlights against Oklahoma, because they have the best line in all the teams in this reel, because the three points Andrew Raym center, Tyler Guyton OT, Waltet Rouse OT so that's three NFL lineman by week 1 three OLman that will be on an NFL team, to me that makes it even for him having a 400 lb T'Vondre Sweat beside him drawing double teams every play, and Jaylen Ford a NFL caliber LB blitzing alot, and he had one highlight tackling Major the OU RB for a short gain on a draw simple run play meaning OU neutralized him. I think he's about two rounds overrated, and not as good as Dwayne Carter Duke, Tyler Davis Clemson, Rhuke Ohrororo Clemson, Justin Egboige Alabama, Mehki Wingo LSU, and no im not a hater i just think T'Vondre Sweat can make a fellow defensive lineman look really really good, but I do think Murphy will be a decent NFL player just not a first round talent, but third round I wouldn't be disappointed if the Steelers got him even though i like a few guys better at DL in that round Dwayne Carter, Rhuke Ohrororo more specifically
Maybe going for a QB is a wasted draft if the Bears are taking the guy, you really want. Unless you can get up to 3, any trade should take place on draft day. I dont understand the recent attacks on Drake Maye. He clearly throws the best deep ball.
