His production comes from beating OT’s. Dude is gonna be good. Most DE’s get sacks from hustle plays, beating TE’s, or Free rush at the QB, this dude straight up beats the tackles.
This dude is a complete beast, only thing stopping him from being a top 10 pick is his low sack total but for context, he cant get sacks when Michigan doesnt throw in the whole second half BECAUSE OF HIM.
@@abucngatorI’m pretty sure it’s because PennState as a team lead the nation sacks in 2023. So it wasn’t just him getting sacks on their defense. A lot of the other guys were the only ones getting sacks.
He’d be nasty with Hutch. I’m a Vikings fan and I’d love to see Hutch and Chop go against the Vikings tackles Darrisaw and O’Neil. Would be a kick ass match up
@@l0rdbubs998 Chop is an amazing athlete, but when comparing the top 5 edges in the draft, Chop doesn't even have half of the stats of the other 4. He could be great, but with no production, he isn't a 1st round pick. Chop's junior year stats are almost a mirror image of his first year, so he didn't even improve like most athletes do.
@@DetroitLove313not sure where you get stats from. Lions want relentless pursuit. And this guy has it. Now the question is, does he fit the weight profile of setting the edge and then rushing the QB. Love for him to be in Detroit but I just don’t think he’s big enough. Sadly that’s what they said about Aaron Donald.
@@Brad-vg1xp ...he will suit their system better than ours... I see a bit of yannick ngokuhue - and that type of pure speed rusher doesn't really work in our scheme Good luck Chop
Born January 2, 2003. Played high school football for the Quince Orchard Cougars (MD). Played college football first for the Maryland Terrapins, then the Penn State Nittany Lions. Drafted #21 overall by the Miami Dolphins. I am a resident of South Carolina and can say that the Dolphins have a big fan base here. And who knows? Maybe he can help resurrect the No-Name Defense.
Chop, thank you for everything you have done for Penn State and good luck in the NFL. Would love for him to get drafted by my Steelers, but that probably will not happen
Jared Verse won games with no quarterback. He is much better. Chop doesn’t have enough pass rush moves for the next level. Verse does and he also knows his keys. Chop can play but you’re not building a defense around him.
Miami Dolphins fan here, scouting/draft reports are saying Chop Robinson has similar freaky athleticism to Micah Parsons when he was in college. Based on what I see here it seems about right lol.
My player comp is Hassan reddick I think his draft starts at pick 15 best fit would be would probably be Detroit or the raiders , I think you put him on the same side as Hutchison or Crosby he could be rookie of the year I’ll bet the dolphins are the team that grabs him tho
Love this channel's highlight videos, but can I make one subtle suggestion? When a guy is known to have an electric first step, don't start the clip as the ball is being snapped. Give us an extra second or two, especially when it's Chop. His first step is the quickest I can remember ever seeing.
@@johndavis6719he probably will. This drafts loaded with edge talent. There’s 2 OLB projected to go before him being turner and verse. Then Robinson. There’s also latu floating around in the mix as well. Many teams are gonna come out with studs
