The top half of the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft skewed heavily toward the offense. Quarterbacks, wide receivers and offensive tackles made up the top 12 picks. Seattle stayed put as Byron Murphy II, the top interior defender in the draft, fell to them with the 16th overall pick. After taking Devon Witherspoon last year, the Seahawks have now taken the second defensive player off the board in back-to-back drafts. How will Murphy fit into a rotation that already includes Jarran Reed, Leonard Williams, Dre'Mont Jones, Johnathan Hankins, Cam Young, Mike Morris and Myles Adams?
