The Seahawks 2024 Draft Class is set and there were a few common themes that jumped out from their draft strategy. First, this may have been the most need-based draft the Seahawks have produced in recent years. They picked guards that play guard, they addressed the defensive line and linebacker all within their first few picks. Second, with many of these picks, they talked about their versatility. Does it give us some clues about what they may have planned for the offense and defense? We run through each of the day 3 picks and talk about some of our overall thoughts on this year's class.

Love the fact that BM is a big LOB fan and CH is a big Geno fan and it's so interesting that Huff was trying to recruit Laumea out of high school as a defensive tackle GO HAWKS!!!

I love what Adam said about trust. I'm giving McDonald two years before I start to judge.

Good show fellas. It’s a fun class IDK it could be just the draft high still there but listening to the last pick the tackle, his interview by the radio station the kid is freezing smart and aware. If he doesn’t make it he has a future in coaching. I’d bet more bbq money he beats out Stone year one.

There's only one Pete Carroll and he led us to our Superbowl dream, him and John Schneider, created the legion of Boom and one of the greatest teams ever...and now it's Mike's turn and he has quite a solid core to work with and what with this years draft and off season pick ups I think we are in store for some truly remarkable AGAIN!.this team is going to kick cans down the road for real.im excited!

Haynes is awesome. The guy is gonna be the best guard we’ve had in the last decade. Undersized my ass. The guy is the best guard ive seen in space. He can go cross face blocking fast guys on the second level. That is easily the hardest block to make and he just makes it look easy. He is precise and gets into position taking the right angle. It doesn’t matter if someone is 10% bigger/faster/stronger when haynes is 90% in a better position.

I know it's easy to like Pete he was a smooth talker, but i really like that Mike actuator says things and it doesn't feel like lip service. Admittedly, it's all talk for now and maybe it'll be same ol, but i got so tired of hearing the same "we just gotta get at it, we know what we need to work on, we'll focus on that this week" with no results. Hopefully Mike doesn't devolve to that

What ya see? I haven't watched it. More pass catching? I think he's got all the talent needed to be a solid+ TE. What do you think?

A lot of tackles is normally an indicator of a bad team. Both Offense and D. Knights film very much shows a guy who’s played a lot but seems to lack instinct. I’m glad 9ers2000’was onboard with zero points of info 😂

A lot of tackles doesn't always mean a bad team. Ray Lewis had a lot of tackles and is generally considered the best LB in the last 20 years and on an all-time defense. I like the comparison that knight seems similar to Bobby coming out, undersized, lots of tackles, instinctual but needed to refine. Biggest upside of any lb at the spot and that's gold in the 4th. If he doesn't hit, we've got 2 solid starters already. If he does his ceiling is as high as anyone in the draft.

See I prefer how Mike Macdonald talks over Pete Carroll. Pete spoke like a politician a lot. Said a lot to say very little. You were constantly having to parse his tone and inflection to guess what he meant. With Mike, he seems so far to be just very straightforward.

Yes, Mike is very straightforward. But for sure a boring draft day call. Huff was the best on the calls. But I like what I hear from Mike in the pressers.

Blind dog in a butcher shop could mean that he has an instinct and a feel for things. Just cause that dog is blind don't mean he won't eat.
