I was on my mission during this season, but I saw the last minute of this game when my companion and I stopped by an investigator's home and he had the game on in the other room. Tender mercies of the Lord.
i was 9 when this game happened, i was watching it with my dad on the couch and suddenly when mitch caught it my dad went crazy- i didn’t really know what was going on but i went crazy too. what a great play and memory!
We would absolutely love that. Email your athletic director and let them know that you want it. When things finally get back to normal and if a rematch in Provo gets played, I will personally bring you a Utah Beer, and an apology for said Utah Beer. (I actually hear there are some really good ones, but I wouldn't know myself.) Independence has been frustrating in a lot of ways for us, but I have a long list of teams I pull for because BYU played them and the fans had so many positive interactions. I really hope there's a rematch and I get to buy you that beer.
I was in Studio B of the BYU broadcasting building where they did the pre and post game show. If you could find footage of that and add it to this it would be amazing. We went nuts! I was jumping up and down hugging Brian Logan and David Nixon lol. Also if you could find a video of the byu fans in the stadium reacting. Well done collecting this...so fun to see the different reactions!!! Should be done more often

Good for BYU. Seeing that they're not nationally relevant in Utah (or anywhere) anymore, moments like these must be nice. Although their best days are behind them, fans can still look at old footage to relive the good old days.
@@crappydentist You're right. It was good of all those high school teams to make room on their schedules for you. It's not like this year was anomalous or anything. Looks like it's not just zero personality we're dealing with here, but zero brains as well. Now go to Sunday school and tell everyone how you got owned on the internet again by someone who googled your team's schedule. And then play the victim, telling people that no one understands BYU's rightful place at the top, and argue that BYU is a legitimate institution of higher learning even though it is openly and flagrantly discriminatory. Yet there is video evidence that it did. They not only reviewed it, they confirmed it. You have to be blind to not see that ball in the end zone by over a foot, as he comes down. It is not just where he catches it, it is where he goes down. Just recognize that it was an incredible game with an amazing catch by Matthews. Mitch had defenders draped all over him, they easily could have thrown a flag for interference, but seldom do on Hail Mary passes. The other Husker Fans were incredibly gracious and praised the play. There always has to be one, though.
