ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Z_9246Zi_Go.html Something for you to check out. A game between 2 teams that will open the 2025 Season in Dublin, Ireland. Some of the key guys for Iowa State could still be playing then. Last regular Season game of 2023. (Bit of Background Story) Iowa State Quarterback Brock Purdy left to become NFL rookie star Brock Purdy end of 2021-22 Season. 2022 QB got kicked off of team due to violations of rules related to newly legalized sports gambling, so new guy had to come in and become instant star. 2 running backs left the team prior to the start of this game with plans of transfer to other schools, opening door for flashy first year player to make his first start. ) Game played in heavy snow.
That Jadeveon Clowney hit was crazy and it got him the first overall pick in the 2014 draft. That Arkansas punt return was probably the most sensational highlight of the decade though
It was not a single hit, but rather the fact that he was a freak of nature (still is, when healthy) at 6'6" 270lbs and 4.5 in the forty, with really long arms and all of the athleticism needed. The single tackle was just another, of many, examples of his excellence--no one needed to see that to make him the no. 1 pick.
clowney was a beast but what significance did that really have outside the bowl game, he was going to go 1st anyways. plus michigan was in a downslide at the time
Clowney's hit was arguably the high point of his career. That or, ya know, he needs to get on better coached teams. It's strange, SC around that time had some great defensive players, Norwood, Clowney are the two that leap out at me....but not that many make it pro. I wonder if that's a system problem, or the fact that they get overlooked but are good enough to make it but don't get a chance due to being in the SEC? I'm curious how many Gamecocks got drafted pre 92 and since 92. Somewhere, there's an alternate timeline where they either stayed an independent or stayed in the ACC
The crazy thing about Melvin Gordon’s single game rushing record is that the record was broken the following week by Samaje Perine of Oklahoma. As a Wisconsin fan I’m glad that performance made the video! It was probably the highlight of the decade for the Badgers.
That is crazy! A little gutted for him that the record only stood one week, if he sat out the 4th Quarter. Incredible performance! Thanks for the comment Roger, appreciate it 🤝
I love how many of these were called by Verne Lunqvist. The man has made so many great calls in so many sports over so many years. Jack Nicklaus taking the lead at The Masters in 1986 ("Yes, SIR!"), the Christian Laettner game winning shot for Duke in 1992 vs Kentucky in basketball, the Tiger Woods chip in 2005 ("In your LIFE, have you seen anything like this??), Jackie Smith's drop in Super Bowl XIII ("Bless his heart, he's got to be the sickest man in America."), the Kick Six, the Manziel play, on and on. One of the best ever.
Verne was one of my favorite announcers of all time he made me want to become a sports announcer when got older but I now have become a sports videographer
Burrow wore a “Burreaux” jersey during the Senior Night festivities to the delight of the LSU fans. Joe Burrow showed his deep gratitude to the @LSUfootball faithful by wearing a “Burreaux” jersey for his senior night introduction in Death Valley tonight. The idea was Burrow's alone.
@@DNReacts Every college's sport has a Senior Night. I'd witnessed such things at Arizona State when I was an undergrad there, but nothing compared to what Burrow got,. Then again, that's what happens when you lead your team to an undefeated national championship season.
The "Kick Six" wasn't just an unbelievable play - the whole game was exciting from the beginning, and it was very well played throughout. That goes down as my favorite college football game AND moment of that decade (though I do have a soft spot for Jameis Winston's famous blooper against Oregon).
The first time I saw the “Kick Six” it was very early into our journey and I still got chills down my spine despite not fully understanding just how important and incredible it was. Will always stay with me.
fudge her right in the wussy! he was a joke and so is bimbo fisher. lol the kick six imo was just no one expected it not even saban, still hell of a play to carry thru with it. sadly i feel like in todays game they would review and find some bs wrong with it, cuz ya know money.
@@DNReacts before the kick 6 everyone thought that Alabama team was the best team ever with NFL talent all down the roster like Derrik Henry.. Then they went on to get completely lit up in the bowl game by Oklahoma a few weeks later.😆
24:30 what happened was Auburn’s coach put the punter at position X, which is the wide receiver. The QB and the punter were both on the field. That prompted the alabama players to get confused, trying to cover the play and the punt. So it was a “trick” play. That’s what you see Bo Nix and Malzhan so happy. The trick worked.
The Burrow jersey thing was during his senior night (senior day/night is a tradition in high school and college athletics where the seniors playing their final regular season home game have a pregame ceremony where they all get announced individually and get to walk out with or to members of their family and get presented a gift like a commemorative ball or plaque or framed photo or jersey and everyone gives them a big standing ovation). During his, Burrow wore a jersey with his name spelled "Burreaux" (although he changed back to normal for the game). The gimmick here is that Cajun/Creole French is a commonly spoken and written dialect in Louisiana and a common suffix of said dialect is the letters "eaux" pronounced "oh." Because of this, a common sign to see at LSU games involves a purposeful mis-spelling the word "go" in "Go Tigers" as "Geaux Tigers" to indicate both their team affiliation and Cajun roots. So he took his senior night a way to pay tribute to the fans and his coach, Ed Orgeron (who specifically does have a Cajun background), and show how much he embraced them and their culture (or at least their silly takes on it). Burrow quickly became a fan-favorite at LSU even though he, a native of Ohio, spent his first 3 years at Ohio State because of his quality play and because, by all accounts, he's just a nice, cool dude. For me, personally, UConn winning out in 2010 and winning the Big East championship on a walk-off 51 yard field goal at South Florida to clinch our first (and to date only) major bowl bid. The actual best moment probably Kick 6. Gets me every time. The Tua walk-off is also quality. Miami laterals against Duke might be the most insane (the play did stand but the refs actually botched the post-play management completely doing multiple reviews and calling and then calling back a possible block to the back with no clear communication; to this day I'm not sure how that play SHOULD have ended but everyone agrees it was messed up. Here's a good write-up...ftw.usatoday.com/2015/10/miami-kickoff-return-duke-video-lateral). OMG, I almost forgot about the Prayer at Jordan-Hare!! Auburn's 4th and 18 miracle tip drill against Georgia was the GAME BEFORE the Kick 6 (which is part of what makes the Kick 6 so special and still higher up on the list for me, but jeeze!). 2013 was a pretty insane year for Auburn which, despite all these miracles, ended in them losing the National Championship Game to Florida State on that 4th Quarter 100-yard kick return from earlier in the video. 8:36 - Y'all caught the play before being by Johnny Manziel but ya missed that this play was Lamar Jackson. What's crazier about that 2019 LSU team with Burrow and Jefferson is that their other top receiver was Burrow's current Bengals teammate, Ja'Marr Chase. They drafted Burrow and Chase in back-to-back seasons both out of LSU and it's obviously working for them. And yes, that is Thaddeus Moss who is in fact Randy Moss' son. Despite his college success, he's been bounced around NFL rosters and I don't believe has played in a game yet. He played in the USFL this past spring. 27:28 - Nick is right that any part of the foot on the line is out of bounds but, additionally, you only need a tiny part of the foot to be down (if none of it is on the line). Just a toe or just a heel is fine. This is all for college of course where you only need 1 foot down to complete a catch. In the NFL, you need parts of both feet down and in bounds with possession of the ball to complete a catch. 27:56 - There was nothing controversial about it (that I'm aware of). It's just that, all Michigan had to do to win was get the punt off and make sure it wasn't returned for a touchdown. They went from winning to losing in one bad snap and one failed attempt to hoof the ball away by any means necessary. Another crazy one. 31:58 - Ohio University (or just Ohio) is a green and white colored Mid-American Conference (MAC) school that has been ranked in the top 25 of the AP rankings for 9 specific weeks over the course of 2 seasons of their 62 in college football (2012 and 1968) and only stayed in the top 25 in the final poll of the season in 1968. 2 lessons here, 1) be specific, 2) if you see Ohio U in one of these highlight reels it is probably for upsetting a big name school.
Thanks for all of this context Kevin, appreciate it 🤝🔥 Just finished reading through, great read and my football IQ has certainly increased. Amazing we managed to miss Lamar Jackson in here though! I’m going back to watch that again now. Thanks again 🙏
That most likely would have been Joe Burrow's final home game for the LSU Tigers. For the last home game of the season, schools will bring the seniors out first with their families to thank them for playing for the team/school.
I’m sure somebody’s mentioned before, but the play at 5:45 was literally the week before the famous kick-six play. The fact that both those plays happened in back-to-back games to keep Auburns season alive was insane at the time
YEEEESSSS!!!!! I told them to keep saying "Ohio" and they replied with something like "Now I know it's not Ohio".....Lo and behold- they still don't know if it's 'Ohio State' or just 'Ohio'....As a Buckeye hater, I hope this time next year they still refer to the Buckeyes as "Ohio" 🤣
That Clowney hit on Michigan is one of the greatest moments in college football for me. It's a testament to one person just absolutely dominating their position. Clean through the line, great technique on the tackle, knocks dude's helmet off, forces a fumble AND picks it up. A man playing against boys.
@@1spence923as a Michigan fan... I agree. That call was terrible. But in the truest "ball don't lie" moment, you could see the writing on the wall before they even snapped the ball. It's been a long hard road as a Michigan fan
as an alabama alum, my favorite moment has to be 2nd and 26.. Tua to Devonta Smith in overtime to win the national championship in Tua's first real game action. bias aside one of the most exciting and roller coaster championship game ever. outside of USC-Texas 2005 it has to be the best national championship game.
Louisiana was a French territory and has a ton of French influence. Cajuns speak French Etc. He did a tribute to that culture in his last homegame in college at Louisiana State University by putting a French/cajun spin on it. He then proceded to go out and destroy my college's team in the following 4 quarters. :(
as a person from michigan who is a MSU fan, at 27:56 was definitely the biggest college football moment from my memory. When that punter muffed the ball, you could basically hear the whole state of michigan either cheering or booing, lots of cheering on our end for sure (:
2:27 I like the game that Alabama had to play after that shocking loss. They were expected to go to the National Championship game after that game, but since they lost, they had to go to the Sugar Bowl game in 2014 and play my OU Sooners. I think OU was ranked around 11, and they were 2 TD underdogs going into that game. Nobody gave OU a shot. But OU won by 2 TD's.. It ended in epic fashion too. It's a bummer this compilation didn't go to 2021, and include the two Red River games between OU and Texas in 2020 and 2021. Those games were two of the most epic games from that roughly 100 year old rivalry. Came down to the wire in both games.
Let’s go!!!!!! So excited to grab some popcorn and enjoy this video with you guys. Gonna be so fun in a month once football gets going again. You guys are the best reaction channel by far, keep it up! 🎉
@@DNReacts Oh it definitely was. If you want to see some crazy finishes that haven’t been in any of these complications this far, you should see “College Football Strangest Endings”
Great job fellas! I'm excited to see Colorado coming to the BIG 12. I can't wait to see how Coach Sanders and Coach Gundy get along. It's gonna be fun to watch.
It should have been overturned. There was a blatant block in the back at the 16 yard line the officials missed, and one of the runners was indeed down during the play. A couple review officials were suspended over it.
I love it when they come up with new phrases for something we have a common term for. I loved it when the Baylor pass was tipped and he called it a finger punt.
I’m quite surprised that there aren’t *any* of Patrick Mahomes’ plays from Texas Tech in this video. He broke all sorts of records and pulled amazing plays out of thin air. Still does.
Also, when looking for games to watch this season just look up to see which game Gus Johnson is calling. Hes the guy that gets all excited and starts screaming when really big plays happen. He just makes games as entertaining as they can possibly be. My favorite guy in the booth.
My favorite is North Carolina vs NC State in 2012. This is probably the biggest rivalry in North Carolina. The score was tied at 35 with 30 seconds to go, and NC State was punting. UNC had Giovanni Bernard deep to return the punt, which he did all the way for the game winning touchdown. Kenan Stadium, North Carolinas stadium, was the loudest I’ve ever heard it. That was the best game of my life
I'm so happy you guys said the Iron Bowl missed FG TD was your best moment... honestly... I'm a diehard Gators fan (a team in the same conference as Auburn and Alabama) and I remember exactly where I was when this moment happened. I was sitting in the kitchen and the tv was on the other room... I called my dad in and he just looked at the tv and said "UNREAL" It is honestly one of the best moments I have ever experienced and I'm not a fan of either team! Anyways... you guys rock! Keep it up! GO GATORS!!
At @13:50 mark the Tight End that scores here, Thaddeus Moss, is the son of Hall of Famer Randy Moss. They show his pops in the end zone after he scores.
A quick way to tell the home team is that they’re always second on the TV scoreboard. It’s always Nebraska AT Wisconsin (or whatever two teams are playing, the home team is always second). Couple that with the fact that the home team usually wears the darker colored jersey (their ‘home’ jerseys) & the road team will usually have much more white in their uniforms (their ‘road’ jerseys), though in college, this isn’t as straightforward as it is in the NFL. Of course, the big W on Wisconsin’s helmet & the big N on Nebraska’s helmet could give it away too…😏
Fact about that Purdue game. One of their biggest fans Tyler Trent who was diagnosed with terminal cancer and almost couldn’t make the game. He did and Purdue was by no means expected to win but they pulled off a miracle. Unforgettable CFB moment 💯
Clearly this guy is a huge SEC fan because that's pretty much the only conference featured with a few Big 10 and literally no other conference unless they were playing an SEC team.
We are currently 29 days and 10 minutes exactly from kick off! I cannot wait. I start getting the itch usually around mid June and have to feed my addiction with footage from old games until the end of August.
My favorite is at Michigan against Michigan State when the Michigan punter muffed the punt and Michigan State recovered it and scored the TD to win it.
“Eaux” is a cajun spelling tribute to LSU and its roots. Makes the same sound are “ow” in his name. It was also senior night so that was his last home game at the school
Keep in mind. That last part with FSU vs OR....that's Jameis Winston that just casually "dropped the ball" after slipping....2012 All American QB, 2013 Heisman trophy winner, and this game game was a National Championship that we were defending...with a perfect record in 2014...right before he drafted to the Buccaneers a year early. He fkn threw that game. Both him and Fisher ran away with their tails tucked.
once you guys watch more you'll recognize more players. so many future NFL stars are in this video. Saquon Barkley and Devonta Smith highlights (college highlights) are a must - Saquon is one of the best college RBs you'll see and Devonta Smith was only the 2nd WR ever to win the Heisman trophy.
Thank you for the comment and the suggestion, really appreciate this, will check it’s on the watch list. We run regular polls on our Discord for all members to have a say in what videos we do next if you’re not already on there 🙏 Also have separated request threads for each sport (makes it easier for us to track suggestions)
fun fact, Melvin Gordon broke Ladainian Tomlinson’s rushing record, and then shortly after got drafted in the first round by Ladanian Tomlinson’s NFL team the Chargers. made a Pro Bowl with the Chargers too, was the best RB they had since LT
As a Michigan State alumni, the trouble with the snap play is one of my favorite moments in any sport EVER. Not so fun fact, Jalen Watts Jackson (picked up the dropped punt for the score) was actually injured from being dogpiled by his teammates after the play. MSU typically is the lesser in football compared to the University of Michigan, while we're typically quite good at college basketball with our legendary coach Tom Izzo. During the Dantonio years (2007-2019) we actually did quite well against UofM in football, though. Both are great schools in great cities, and while UofM typically focuses on their Ohio State rivalry, it's a great in-state rivalry in and of itself.
At some point, we have got to get you two to the States to go to some of these games because as cool as it is on these videos, they are 10 times more so in person!
"we dont see much oregon" yup it's the greatest mystery to me how between 2010 through 2015 oregon was one of the most electric teams in college football and we had 1 low light and 1 highlight
For context on the Duke Miami play the following week the ACC announced that play shouldn’t have counted as one of the players at the beginning lateraled the ball after he was tackled down and pretty much screwed Duke out of one of they best seasons in program history
There will always be omissions in lists like this, but I think it's a disservice to not have the Ole Miss/Arkansas 4th and 25 play on the list. Ole Miss was in the driver's seat to win the SEC West that year due to beating Alabama and they were in an overtime game with Arkansas with a 7 point lead, and Arkansas was faced with a 4th and 25. The play that transpired was unlike anything I've ever seen before and Arkansas went on to win the game and Ole Miss missed out on winning the SEC West yet again.
That South Carolina hit on Michigan has a cool back story, the previous play was 4th down for South Carolina and they got the first by 3 inches but the ref called them short. Then that happened the very next play
The Ohio State receiver fell down on his break and allowed Cole Turner to make the interception. Cole Turners father played with Dabo Swinney at Alabama. They were close and when he died of Cancer, he asked Coach Swinney to look after his sons. Cole Turner was a walk on that earned a scholarship. His younger brother is a wide receiver at Clemson. He played in one game. The ACC championship game and had the most single game receiving yardage of ANY Clemson Receiver from ANY game in 2022... The Turners and Coach Swinney are what's GREAT about College football. GO TIGERS! Rick Charleston SC
“Eaux” in Cajun French makes an “O” sound. LSU fans chat “Geaux Tigers”. This was in Burrow’s last home (a 50-7 victory over Texas A&M on Senior Night). I attended this game with my son. Burreaux honored the whole crowd by wearing that jersey when he was recognized before the game. But NCAA rules would not allow him to wear it during actual play. It was a special night. 😊
OU,s running back broke the record a week after Gordin did, theve had 2 hiesman winners and multiple finalist, its a shame they didnt get even one play shown in the original video.(one were they were the benefactor anyway)
I was in the south endzone for the UCF vs Auburn peach bowl game. To win a major bowl game and have a 13-0 season after going 0-12 2 years before was amazing. Go Knights ⚔️
Another moment y’all need to see is Baylors goaline stand against Oklahoma state, where they held Oklahoma’s running back inches short of the pylon to preserve the win
I don't know if this is in the video as I'm only 2 minutes in but the kickoff return in the 2017 UCF-USF game is my greatest moment ever attended. Really the whole game is one of the greatest ever
Surprised my personal favorite didn't make the video, is usually makes these types of compilations. It's my alma mater Central Michigan beating Oklahoma State on a last second hail mary, one of my favorite days as a CMU fan
Great reaction guys. Always love the CFB ones. I will say the problem with a lot of these original “best moments” videos and what not though is they don’t do a good job of providing proper context for people who aren’t super familiar with what’s happening already. At the very least the creators need to put some text before each one so the viewer can understand the impact and why each moment or play is important. Not everyone who watches stuff like that is a superfan. If there’s no context the average person is just going to view a lot of stuff as just routine plays and nothing really special.
Thank you so much, really appreciate that 🤝 Yeah we usually avoid complications, but throw in the odd one hear and there. We’ll get into the nitty gritty to get the context in future videos too. Have a good day 🙏
@@DNReacts Oh no I’m talking about the original creators of the “best moments” types of videos, not the reactors or you guys lol. You do a fantastic job 👌Keeping crushing it 👍
My God if I never have to watch that Michigan St. blocked punt return touchdown against Michigan it will be too soon. Dude literally could have kicked it over the line of scrimmage and Michigan would have won. I went to a family gathering afterwards and people were looking at me like I had just lost a pet.
They didn’t have to put auburn in as much as they did but the iron bowl where they ran it back will always play in my head. Had a couple of old friends that went to the game and had live footage of it. They showed me and I had chills. It was louder there than what the tvs show lol. Do y’all plan on paying attention to some games in the NFL and college this year? Y’all have grasped concepts rapidly and even memorized dates and names of iconic plays.
As a Florida State fan, when I saw that kickoff return for a TD I ran outside screaming FUCK YA FUCK YA FUCK YA!!! Outside in 3 feet of snow. Not joking.
Love your reactions! Another tip. Whenever you see the score graphic on the screen, the 2nd team listed is the home team and usually wears the darker home jerseys. Ex: Ala 24 TX 10, the second team Texas is the home team and playing in their stadium.
With as many plays Auburn was involved in on here, I am surprised there were 2 others not in here. The Michael Dyer run in the NC game against Oregon where it looked like he was down but was on top of an Oregon player that put Auburn in position to kick the game winning FG and the the Camback game when Bama went up 28-0 and Auburn came back and won the game which sent them to Atlanta for the SEC Championship game and eventually NC game against Oregon.
2:16 I started watching college football in 2015 and my favorite moments were the 2018 Texas season (28:44 that play killed our playoff hopes but we won the sugar bowl)🤘 and Alabama lsu 2019
If you want to watch a college football game in person here are some of your best choices. Go during rivalry week. Florida state vs Florida, Alabama vs Auburn , Ohio state vs Michigan, Texas vs Oklahoma, but if you want the biggest tailgate party in college football then you need to got to the Georgia vs Florida game held in Jacksonville fl. Any of those games will leave you speechless.
The Kick 6 needs to be played with the Auburn announcer’s call. It’s 50 million times better than the one people always use. “They’re not gonna keep them off the field tonight!”
Has anyone suggested the " Good gosh o'mighty " documentary from ESPN, it's about a 1994 high school game between Plano East vs. John Tyler, it's excellent.
Every time the Kansas State Wildcats win a game or are ranked in the top 20 it's one of the greatest moments in college ball for me. The KSU Wildcats spent decades as the losingest team in NCAA division 1. Decades. I can't encourage you strongly enough to watch the short documentary "The Miracle in Manhattan". You can find it here on RU-vid and it's even pleasantly narrated by Mike Rowe. It's a truly inspiring American sports story.
The Clowney hit at 16:10 deserves a little more context. On the play before, Michigan had gone for it on 4th down and it was close enough that they brought out the chains to measure. Despite the ball being visibly short of the marker by about half an inch, the referee signaled that Michigan had gotten the first down. This was the very next play (hence the commentator saying "South Carolina deserves to have it"). 28:15 - there wasn't really any controversy. There are some folks who wondered why Michigan was trying to punt the ball at all instead of just running around in the backfield to run out the clock (the obvious answer to that is "too much time, risks giving up a chance at a FG to win if you get tackled before time runs out, and if you get chased all the way back and give up a safety it's a tie game"), but it was the right decision, just the worst possible execution. Once the snap was mishandled, the punter would have done better to just fall on it and hope for the best (MSU would have still been outside FG range at that point), but he panicked and instead tried to get the kick away, and the rest is history. 29:35 - Purdue isn't usually great at football (they did have a stretch of excellence with Drew Brees at QB back around 2000, but that's about it), but they do have a notorious record as giant-killers - they have the most wins all-time against top-5 teams while not ranked in the top 25 themselves (17 - and nobody else is even close, I think second-best is 10 or 11). Ohio State seems to be a particularly common victim for them (though by no means the only one; they've done it to Michigan, Michigan State, and Notre Dame multiple times too).
#7 Jadeveon Clowney, South Carolina vs. Michigan he was the best football player that yr. and overall first pick in the draft. He was something in college.
At 15:20: Usually when a quarterback's throw misses by that much, it's a miscommunication, the reciever was supposed to turn right and instead turned left, or something to that effect.
The clowned hit on Michigan is the ultimate “ball don’t lie” moment. The previous play they were short of the 1st down and they came out to measure with the yard markers but the ref was obviously wrong. Should’ve been South Carolina’s ball. The coach and players on the sideline were furious. Then Clowney took matters into his own hands💪🏼
Those plays by Auburn all kept happening in Jordan Hare stadium (Kick 6 against Alabama, "Prayer in Jordan Hare" against Georgia, etc). They happen so much that many of us SEC fans think that building is cursed by voodoo b/c Auburn keeps pulling off crazy stuff there. Although just this last season the curse might have been broken finally as after a very strange series of plays that saw Alabama on the last play having a 4th and goal from the 31 yard line Jalen Milroe threw a dagger into the heart of their fans and Alabama won a crazy game there instead of losing one. Still creeped out by that stadium though.
At the end of the Oregon-TCU game at 11:45, it wasn't an interception, just an incompletion. However, that was good enough as it was fourth down. Defenders are taught on fourth down to not try for interceptions -- "Fourth down, knock it down" -- because you risk tipping the ball in the air for an offensive player to catch, and an incompletion will result in a turnover on downs anyway, not to mention with better field position (the original line of scrimmage, rather than having to run all the way back after an interception).
Man, I will always remember where I was for that AurburnvAlabama play. I was at the mall, and a group of 10 other guys along with myself gathered around the tv at the end, expecting to see Bama win. when it got returned for an Auburn TD, we all freaked out. none of us were even fans of either team
UCLAs comebacks against A&M and WSU all of this are great but I’m very proud of my Alma Matar being part of something historic on more then one occasion. You can should check out the ucla v sc 06 game one of the biggest upsets in ncaa football history if you haven’t already.
Iron Bowl: Alabama Vs. Auburn is the biggest in-state school rival in football in the SEC or College period. They always live up to the hype of the magnitude of the hatred they have for each other which make each win so much better or lost that much worse….
On the Miami vs Duke last second touchdown: there were so many missed calls on that play that the ACC publicly apologized for it, and I'm pretty sure people got fired for it. I hate to see it in these "greatest plays" highlight videos because it never should have happened.
The Melvin Gordon record was even more crazy because he did ALL of that in only 3 quarters. Broke the record on the last play of the 3rd quarter and was out the rest of the game. Which really sucks because he lost it a week or 2 later by 20ish yards. No hate to Samaje Perine but Melvin was just on another level in this game.
