Well you answered that question yourself. That second group of girls weren't up to the standard of lita,c hyna,molly, mae, etc..and didn't deserve to hold their belt so they had to make them a new one

+BlackKyurem5 I don't like it either way, but it was definitely better with the WWE scratch logo, since they had a big "CHAMPION" written under it rather than a tiny, can't hardly see it "world heavyweight champion" like on the current network logo belt. Granted they're both much better than the spinner with "CHAMP" written on it. Come on, a belt should have more decorum than that.

+PropaneMan9 that's cool we all have different opinions my least favorite belt is either the old wwf belt (not the winged one) or the old ecw belt yea it matched the style of ecw but I can't stand the shape or color scheme everything just meshes together. I think the colors could work if used properly like I saw the wwecw (silver) with the color scheme of the old one and I thought it look great

Adam Scully I actually kinda liked the redesigned ECW belt, personally thought it showed they were really going in a different direction with ECW plus it was around during 2009, WWECW's best year.

TheKatanarama I always liked the two titles for Smackdown and Raw. The Heavyweight title was from WCW, it was paying homage to the past. And then it highlighted the entirety of the Bragging Rights era,it added a second Elimination Chamber match, and it allowed for two superstars to be at the top of the company at once. It broke up the monotony that we're forced to deal with now.

At least with today's belt I can still remember the days when Randy Savage held the similar design and guys like Bret Hart, Steamboat, Mr Perfect, Shawn Michaels. The Oval IC belt was as bad as the WWE's Women's Title which insanely is a better looking belt than the Divas Title, which is BAD!

I will say that the first design of the WWE Championship that the Rock revealed looked shitty in my opinion. The one Rollins has is much better.

***** I never loved Cena, lol. I was a big Edge fan actually. I think Cena's all right though. Not as bad as everyone says, but nowhere near worth the hype. He's a below-average wrestler with average mic skills. Never understood why he became so big. The reason I liked the spinner was because it looked cool to me. I just liked the idea of a spinner belt. My friends had them and I was always bummed because I only had a Big Gold belt. Which I still liked a lot, but it wasn't the same. The spinner is nostalgic, I guess, because it was always around. I didn't know that it initially came from Cena. It stuck around for a while too. Which I feel like is because it was a unique and creative design. A lot of the belts are just...boring. Especially the replacement for the spinner. The spinner might look childish to some, but at least it was something different, you know?

I disagree. The spinner belt was imo bad because it spinned, a part from that, it's not too bad. I love the current one because it feels like a top belt and it's not too fancy, simple and straight-forward

The Terminator ECW and WCW were dead long before the spinner belt was even conceived. Edge and Cena? hah, a feud to only put over cena and nobody else. HHH and HBK ended before the spinner belt was even a thought in anyone's mind, and Orton and Taker... well yes the spinner belt existed, however this wasn't for the belt. CM Punk had some good feuds, like the one with Y2J, however this is when wrestling was already pussied down. But I rather not argue about eras in professional wrestling, and the actual belt itself... well.... it looks like a backyard wrestling championship. As someone who has done backyard wrestling, I will admit, it only looks good on backyard wrestlers and nobody else.... okay maybe cm punk.. but the undisputed belt would've looked better.
