Does anyone else remember Aaron Rodger's reaction to when Stafford got traded to the Rams? He said there were two QBs whose games he watched for QB play....Mahomes and Stafford. Rodgers might not be the most likable character, but he clearly respects Stafford's game....and he might even agree that MS would have multiple rings if he had gone to a better organization than the Lions.

Wild how the media complains about players giving bs pc answers, yet when they open up and be themselves the media criticizes them... and here they're not even criticizing Stroud about saying something really controversial, but because he might someday in the future? No wonder some players go full Marshawn Lynch on the media. It's not like Stroud said something politically charged or racist... Let players express their opinions wtf stop trying to turn them into brand ambassadors where everything they say has to be ran through a focus group. Old media is dying, now players look forward to being interviewed not on ESPN but on their favorite podcasts where they are more free to be themselves in a real conversation. Stroud represents that generation, but it's not just Stroud. Pros will respect that and see it as an invitation to open up. So why is it alright for sports writers and show hosts to rank players across every category but a player cant answer a question honestly. Not everyone has the same opinion or evalution parameters. Saying you rather have Eli’s career is one thing because ultimately winning is the only thing that matters and 2 rings is better than 1 ring, but to say Stafford would have 3/4 rings with the packers is laughable because the packers defense averaged 35 points given up in nfc championship games. I don’t care who the quarterback is when your defense is giving up 30 plus points in playoff games it’s hard to win.

@@sit2go first of all I literally said Eli was clutch and made every throw he needed to make but let’s remember the DEFENSE held the greatest offense of all time the UNDEFEATED patriots led by mvp Brady and randy freaking moss to 14 points… then the DEFENSE held the same team to 17 points a few years later. I’m not an Eli hater at all but stop trying to make it seem like Eli would’ve won those games if it wasn’t for that historic pass rush and defense overall.

By ranking defenses in points allowed, from 2010 through 2022, the Green Bay Packers had an above-average defense for 7 seasons. 14th in 2021, 9th in 2019, 12th in 2015, 13th in 2014, 11th in 2012, 14th in 2011, & 2nd in 2010.) 2nd best defense (again in points allowed) in the league for that 2010 Superbowl. He didn't have abysmal defenses they were just average.
