I’m a Giants fan, I don’t think DJ is that good but 2 things can be true. His best WR in his entire career has been Darius Slayton a 5th round pick from auburn he’s had 700+ yards 4-5 seasons. WTF do u think a weapon like Nabers can do? We’ve had 1-2 Legit O linemen in DJs 5 years he’s on his 3rd coach 2nd GM that did not draft him but did pay him n believe there was heavy ownership pressure to do that after the playoff win. So when that GM says yeah it’s time for the 40M QB to put up or shut up after another season full of injuries. With upgrades in key positions WR,OL build a good team for whoever the QB is instead of thinking having 1 really talented/good RB is a QBs best friend and will fill all of the other holes on the team. Saquon is a beast n will ball in Philly but they’re acting like we weren’t below the Eagles n Cowboys with him not to mention his injury history and high usage. Either DJ will prove his worth or he’ll get cut 😂 it’s simple but still build the actual foundation to the team OL, WR instead of making the RB the foundational piece

I don't believe in Daniel Jones at all but Acho is right, this is more on the front office. From drafting him that high, not surrounding him with great talent and letting Saquon leave.

Acho what you are saying about Daniel Jones and the Giants is misleading. Yes he didn’t and doesn’t have any Pro Bowl offensive linemen but he has something even better. He has an All Pro left tackle. Andrew Thomas was an All Pro in 2022. And in 2021 and 2022 Daniel Jones did have a Pro Bowl WR in Kenny Golliday. Kenny was a Pro Bowler in 2019 with the Detroit Lions. Also Danny Dimes had Evan Engram who was a Pro Bowl TE while with the Giants.

The Hypocrisy and double standard opinions by these so called experts at ESPN are unreal….how in one breath you can give high praise to QB’s like Trevor Lawrence who BTW has the same exact career stats as Daniel Jones (technically DJ has more rushing yards and rushing TD’s) but with far less talent? Make that make sense 🤔 Here’s another two examples within the division, both Dak Prescott and Jalen Hurts clearly have far more superior talent/supporting cast around them. It’s NO secret that Eagles and Cowboys have one of the best OLines in NFL and arguably the best WR tandems for several years now plus not to mention that their TE’s are top 10 but yet in the next breath try to ignore the FACT that DJ has had one of the worse OLines in NFL (like historically bad) and never had a legitimate WR 1 let alone a WR 2 but someway somehow DJ managed to take his team to playoffs and beat a Kurt Cousins 13-4 team with practice squad WR’s??! Make that make sense…I’ll wait 🤔

Actually they have drafted wrs for him and he had decent wr’s and TE’s. Even Ingram left and boom had a 114 receptions and 950 yards and 5 Tds 😮yes he had that without Daniel jones. He also had wide open wrs he missed easily wide open. James, hayat, slayton, robinson they all are no names because of Daniel jones just like Evan Ingram went cheap in free agency because of Daniel jones now teams will pay millions for him because he is way better than what his New York giants show.
